If I had the option of capturing this very moment in a photograph and hanging it on a wall, just to show the epic downfall representation of my life, I would.
I suppose the feelings on both our sides were mutual. We were too shocked by the unexpected reunion to make any reasonable reaction. I did not try to escape, knowing what I had done to him the last time we were together. And he did not try to attack me.
I folded my hands, shook my head and scoffed. "Are you really this petty, Christopher Maultner? You have no ounce of benevolence in you, you had to stalk me all the way inside my home. I didn't even kill you. And I could have."
"We should have," Gimmel chirped in.
Maultner's eyebrows knotted. "What on earth are you talking about? What are you doing here?"
