Ark stared at the colossal beast in front of him through his rifle scope and gulped.
"That is one large elephant..."
"Well this is useless now," He said, as he tossed the rifle to the floor, summoning his axe instead.
Ark turned to Kiera who was now sitting at the very edge of the battlement, her face resting on her palms.
Throughout the fight, she had done little to nothing since Thalia had ordered her to conserve her strength.
"KiKi, what do you think about that beast?"
Kiera almost stumbled down the battlement, her body teetering at the edge just before she held herself in place.
She glared at him from where she sat and slowly rose to her feet, stepping away from the edge.
"Don't call me that."
Ark laughed lightly.
'Works every time…'
"Sure sure, I promise," he lied as he redirected his attention to the beast.
"So what do you think?"
"We don't stand a chance. Only Thalia can take it." She then squinted her eyes. "I think."
