"Oh, right," Jihoon exclaimed as he fumbled to take off his shoes at the doorway. Once he straightened up, he offered the basket he had been holding with both hands.
"It's for you."
Ryul silently took it, scanning the item to figure out what it was for, and then pausing.
"You should've just come freely. Today was supposed to be my treat," he said with a light reprimand. Still, he gave Jihoon a small pat on the shoulder in appreciation before proceeding to lead them further in.
As they moved past the entrance, Jihoon's gaze was quickly drawn to the far corner of the living room–and he came to a halt.
"What's that?" he asked in surprise. "I thought you weren't hauling boxes around lately?"
A huge tower of cardboard boxes was tucked neatly by the wall, looking slightly out of place in the otherwise tidy room.
Ryul turned to glance back at Jihoon, a dry chuckle escaping him. "You don't seriously think I could carry all of that in one day, do you? I'm not as fit as you imagine."
