After Josh ended the call, Alvin glanced toward Alex's office. He hesitated to enter and share what he had just heard from Josh about Aurora.
"Should I interrupt his meeting?" Alvin silently questioned himself as he approached Alex's office. He halted for a moment before knocking on the door.
Just before Alvin could knock, the door swung open, and Patrick Wallace appeared from behind it with a surprised expression.
Noticing Patrick's distressed look, Alvin quickly understood that Alex was in a foul mood.
The idea of entering Alex's office to inform him about his wife felt like a suicide mission. He hesitated again.
'Damn! What should I do? I need to speak to him now... but what if he scolds me again?' Alvin felt stressed.
"Alvin, why are you standing here? Do you want to meet Alex?" Patrick asked, closing the door behind him.
"Yes. Is he in a good mood?" Alvin asked, anxiously running his fingers through his hair.
