Aurora scolded herself inwardly. How could she have let her tongue slip and reveal this to Renata? She could no longer avoid the truth and had to be honest with her.
"Seriously, Aurora? What makes you choose to intern there? Why not consider a different company?" Renata asked, her worry clearly flashing in her eyes.
Her voice and expression conveyed her concern and frustration at the thought of Aurora working there, especially under the cold Alexander Graystone.
Aurora took a deep breath. She understood why Renata felt worried and annoyed but needed to pretend she didn't know the complete story.
