It has been a month and two weeks into the mission now. We have developed a big map with very minute details and resources that was not known.
We even discovered a mine full of minerals in the northern parts of the island. It held unique minerals like gold and iron in it. We were happy to discover this and we expected to be heavily rewarded for this.
One of tha days we met with another team and took some time together and talked about where to go what to avoid.
After few days of wandering and exploring everything came on our way, we found out we have basically did finish our journey on the island.
So we came to the port where the Uzumaki clan trades with outsiders. This was a small village near the Eddy Village which is where we live.
We came here to book a boat to explore the small islands near Uzuzshio. There were three such islands near Uzushi.
Although they are uninhabited by humans, there are small animals that live on it but we recorded everything that was there. The diameter of the islands and their unique natures.
But the most painful thing was the whirlpool that surrounded the three islands and the main island Uzushio.
Is was very hard to sail in these waters, you don't know when you will encounter a whirlpool wether small or big.
There was a big whirlpool that surrounded the Uzushio village which acted as a natural defense system.
If you don't know how to bypass this natural defense system, you will not reach uzushio. Even if you reach by chance your boat or ship won't survive the whirlpool.
So only the Uzumaki clan know how to bypass this natural defence systems. I even wonder if this whirlpool were manipulated with seals. If there aren't I will create one in the future.
Of the three small islands, one was barren with savannahs. One was Jungle and had animals dominate it and one was uninhabited.
We looked around the Uzushio island twice while exploring. And we made a book containing every detail we saw with missing a bit.
We named it 'Atlas' Uzushio edition. We even provided pictures of the important things we saw though we borrowed the camera from the ninjas under the Uzukage, there are cameras but they are not used commonly which made me wonder how easily the three great nations came to the village.
We came to a decision that we will explore for two to three weeks then return to the village. While I was exploring my skills were growing rapidly especially my Kagura's Mind Eye. It's radius grew larger also, It could easily cover up to twenty five to thirty kilometres distance.
I was thinking of changing my Kagura's Mind Eye to see more of intent and more instead of chakra signatures.
I experimented on sensing the natural energy and chakra instead of chakra only and this made me experience new things. I could sense other creatures that has more natural energy than others.
It was making the use of Kagura's Mind Eye easy and doable without consuming chakra and getting exhausted.
Now that I have seen this, I wanted to go for more like making my Kagura's Mind Eye automatic. And sense danger to some extent. Like Karin Uzumaki's Kagura's Mind Eye which can seen malice and the Nine Tails who can make naruto sense malicious intent.
So I have been studying my sensing capabilities but making my sensors mutate was not the main reason I was studying this, instead I wanted to make my overall sensing capabilities to be more and natural to me.
The reason is simple, I wanted to study ' The Flying Thunder God 'jutsu but you won't reach far without having insane sensing capabilities. Both the second and fourth hokages who knew this jutsu had amazing sensing capabilities.
Thus i had to have my sensors capable of sensing space ruptures or weak spots present in the space that is in the atmosphere.
So I had to adapt my sensors to become extremely strong even without using my Kagura's Mind Eye. I have successfully made small progress but I don't know if I'm ready or not.
The weeks that followed was not much different either we had probably explored most of the things we needed in the first round of exploration.
I was not exploring anything in this round instead I was focusing on improving overall strength like ninjutsus, taijutsu and bukijutsu.
I was already a great sensory ninja with my Kagura's Mind Eye but I also became a great sensor without my Kagura's Mind Eye.
Thus I started with my bukijutsu which I had also experiencing amazing progress. My chain series technique was growing stronger with my strength and I had already completed the second technique while Akane completed the first chain series very good.
We stopped exploring and the jounin teacher said we will be going back to the village next week so be prepared.
I asked the teacher to spar with me and he gladly accepted. We spared on several occasions in this week. For the first few time he defeated me within few rounds.
But I was adapting and growing in each defeat. I was gaining experience and new ways to fight with my abilities. After the first few fights I was already keeping up with him for minutes without no one gaining the upper hand.
But ultimately I was on the defensive side without gaining any substantial hits. I lost to him more than. I could count but this was making me stronger.
He told me that with my strength I am already a strong special jounin and only lack extensive experience to make you a jounin.
I made note of his words but there was a feeling that I was not using my abilities to the fullest.
For example I was not even capable of using my chakra nature in fights. This made me think for a while. Then I decided to master all the lighting releases elemental jutsus and create my own variant of chidori.
