Adam quickly moved away from Savan and went into the back stage.
He ran into it further and further as Savan chased after him
Soon he entered a warehouse.
Adam's breath came in ragged gasps as his body still ached from the last brutal attack. The warehouse was vast, the air heavy with dust and tension, towering crates stacked high like the skeletal remains of a long-forgotten city. The ambient hum of machinery filled the space, but all Adam could hear was the pounding of his heart and the thundering in his chest. He had seconds—mere seconds—to find an edge before Savan's power recharged.
His mind raced, trying to cut through the haze of pain and adrenaline.
'If I can stall for just a few more seconds, his ability will be useless against me.'
The nanochip in his brain hummed faintly as his blue eyes were filled with a grid like light. They scanned, looking for any scrap of technology that could be used. He clenched his jaw, ignoring the sensation of his muscles tearing from the inside out.
His hand brushed against something cold, the grip of a syringe gun pulsing faintly with a green, eerie glow. Adam's fingers wrapped around it instinctively, the only thing that might turn the tide. Sabotronian bio-tech. Dangerous, unpredictable.
But if it was the only chance he had, he wasn't going to hesitate.
Savan smirked, twirling the shattered remnants of a steel pipe he had just obliterated with a flick of his fingers. The motion was effortless, casual. His presence felt like the weight of the world, heavy, suffocating.
"Come on, Adam. You know there's no point in hiding. You're just prolonging the inevitable," Savan taunted, his voice dripping with mocking confidence.
Adam grit his teeth. Every fiber of his being screamed to attack, but he knew better. Patience. Strategy. He had to outlast this moment.
He adjusted his grip on the syringe gun. Bio-tech. He needed to get closer, but if it was what he thought it was... he had only one shot to make this work. If he used it on Savan, and the serum enhanced his strength, Adam would be dead before he could even react.
The thought made him shudder, but he didn't have the luxury of hesitation.
With a quick glance at the side of the syringe, he read the faint, partially translated text.
[Bio Enhancer Prototype: Will cause the target's entire body to overload and enhance the target. All further production was banned after it killed the son of a high-ranking noble.]
Adam's eyes widened. A gamble. A dangerous gamble.
His heartbeat thundered in his ears as he stared at the glowing syringe. There was no time to think. No time to second-guess himself.
His fingers tightened on the device, pulling the trigger. The needle pierced his skin with a sharp sting. The green liquid entered his bloodstream with terrifying speed.
Pain—a white-hot explosion—erupted inside him, coursing through his veins. His muscles spasmed violently, as though every fiber of his being was being shredded apart, twisted and reforged. Nerves flared as though they were on fire, his body reacting to the surge of foreign chemicals in ways it was never meant to. He fell to his knees, gasping, clutching at his chest as his vision blurred, and the world tilted around him.
The screams of his body were deafening, his every thought a cacophony. He felt like his insides were being ripped apart and remade in an instant. His neural pathways rewired themselves at breakneck speed, feeding him information—raw, brutal data—faster than he could comprehend.
His breath caught in his throat. His nerves felt like they were on fire. His muscles were stretched to their limits, as if his body could no longer keep up with the enhancements.
Then, in the blink of an eye, it stopped.
Adam stood—his body no longer his own.
The fire in his veins was replaced by an eerie hum, like a machine firing up. Every motion felt electric, his senses now heightened to a level beyond human. His fingers clenched and unclenched, the raw strength surging through his hands. He felt every movement of the air, every change in the ambient temperature, the slightest twitch of Savan's muscles, every subtle shift in the room's atmosphere.
His mind was a storm, a violent clash of data streams and sensations. His reflexes were now insanely fast, his thoughts sharpened and calculated, each moment stretching out in his mind as he anticipated Savan's every move. He could feel the molecules of the air, hear the hum of Savan's every breath.
Savan tilted his head, his smirk widening as he took in Adam's transformation. "Oh? You decided to play with fire?" His eyes narrowed in amusement. "Let's see if you can handle it."
Adam didn't wait. He blurted forward—a blur of motion—a single dreadful step that covered the distance between them faster than Savan could process.
The air between them cracked like lightning.
In an instant, Adam was on him. His fist slammed into Savan's stomach with the force of a thunderstrike.
Savan's eyes barely had time to widen before the impact sent him crashing through three massive crates, breaking them like they were made of cardboard, and into a steel support beam.
The force of the blow shattered the air. The sound echoed like a bomb going off, dust and debris filling the air, and Adam felt a rush of satisfaction.
Savan lay on the ground, gasping, his body crumpled but still alive. The impact had been brutal, but not enough to break him. He had to be weaker now, though.
Coughing, Savan looked up at Adam with a mixture of shock and exhilaration in his eyes. "Well…your price just went higher!."
Adam's voice was a low growl, barely more than a rasp. "Greedy bastard."
Savan's lips twitched, but there was no trace of fear. His form shimmered, and in an instant, his body shifted—bending like metal before fleeing.
Adam chased after him.
'My mind is not reacting fast enough because of the sudden injection...' he said.
It was true and it made him slightly slower than he should be,but not for long.
Soon he came across Savan but he was different.
Beside him,the same type of syringe that he had injected was laying on the ground.
His head snapped back as hus eyes glowed red.
His blue skin pulsed with his expanding muscles.
"I don't keep things in singles!" he said as he rushed forward and punched him in the chest.
Adam staggered back, but the pain only fueled him. The enhanced serum had already begun to kick in fully. His body, while it was superhuman, now was a machine.
It healed faster, felt faster. Kiled faster and so did Savan's
"Let's see how well you and I fight now!" Savan growled, his voice cold, his eyes burning with fury.
Adam wasn't listening. He moved again—faster than before. Sprinting across the warehouse, his footfalls barely making a sound as he darted from side to side. He reached for the shattered remnants of a heavy beam from the destroyed crates, lifting it effortlessly.
The weapon felt light in his grip. His body no longer felt the weight of it—it was as if it was an extension of his will.
He swung with brutal force, smashing the beam into Savan's face. Metal met flesh with a sickening thud, but Savan's form twisted, his body morphing like liquid to absorb the impact. His smile only grew wider.
Adam roared, his body moving instinctively as he tore toward Savan again, his movements a blur, as if he were one with the very air itself.
Savan's eyes flashed as he blocked Adam's next strike with ease, but he couldn't deny the challenge now. The raw power surging through Adam made him dangerous. Savan had underestimated the man. The way Adam moved, how his enhanced senses allowed him to predict every movement—he wasn't just fighting for survival anymore. He was fighting for control.
In the midst of their battle, the lights above them flickered, the warehouse groaning as if it couldn't handle the intensity of their blows. The very air around them felt charged with the power they wielded.
Savan's form shimmered again, shifting faster than Adam could react, and his foot lashed out, connecting with Adam's side in a brutal kick that sent him flying backward, his body crashing into another stack of crates.
Adam grunted as the crates splintered under him. He wasn't done yet, though.
He rose again. He had to end this—now.

Meanwhile, far far away,
The pirate ship soared across the sky. Below, the vast dunes stretched for miles, but the ship's shadow loomed over them like a predator in search of its prey. The crew moved with practiced precision, securing cargo stored in iron chests pulsating with advanced locking technology, checking weapons, repairing the damage from their earlier skirmishes with enemy forces.
The crew... They were all human...Bio-Human.
Judas The Captain, seemed unbothered. His copper-colored hair gleamed under the blazing sun, and his mischievous blue eyes sparkled as if the world was his playground. He sprawled out on the deck, his body stretched lazily across the warm boards.
Ada,a woman of average human height with dark purple hair and orange eyes sat nearby, still scowling. She glared at the tally of their latest haul, her arms crossed over her chest in frustration. "Can't you focus for five minutes?" she muttered to Judas, who merely shrugged in response.
Samson,a tall muscular man with very shory hair and amber eyes, ever the pragmatist, adjusted his glasses and looked at the holo-pad on his wrist, flicking through various coordinates. He glanced up at the distant sand dunes below. "Savaris," he murmured, a flicker of something dangerous crossing his eyes. "That's where the bio-engineered lifeform you called David is." he said, his black skin shining in the sun light along with his bulky high tech combat uniform the colour gold and green that stretched over his muscular build.
Judas's ears perked at the mention of David. He smiled, a grin that stretched wickedly across his face. "Ah! I see, let's set sail then!"
Samson paused, his expression turning serious. "We still have to take apart the dune dragon first."
Judas made a face. "Ah… shit… I'm going back to watch some shows," he declared before abruptly turning and retreating below deck.
Ada, ever annoyed by Judas's antics, crossed her arms. "I swear, that guy is useless!"
A man leaning on the ships walls, dressed in high tech ninja like clothes said with a mysterious tone. His eyes were grey and his long and cartoonishly sharp hair was silver.
His name was Hattori.
"Yeah, but he is also our captain...and the strongest among us."
Ada,looking at their captain sighed.
"Unfortunately."
