"Brother... where are you" said a weakly voice "It burns, I can't feel my legs, I can't see. Where are you? Please say something."
The boy starts crawling, dragging his body on the burned ground.
"Where are you? I know that lizard can't defeat you! Please don't leave me here!" said the boy in a cry of anger and sadness.
For hours or maybe days he crawled with no destination, many times fainting from exhaustion and pain. With time his legs started working again, letting him move that much easier.
"Brother, are you there? Do you hear me? Maybe you are unconscious? I will find you, after that... after that let's live like before, a carefree life. I swear I will start to do what you tell me, so please give me a sign, a yell, something to find you!".
After a few more days or maybe weeks the boy found something solid, in the shape of a boot.
"I found you brother. Please wake up. I am right here." said the boy, but no response, for a few silent moments "Fine I can wait. I will wait, so please wake up fast. I am hungry and it... still... burns..." the boy falls into a deep sleep for an unknown time, maybe days or even weeks.
With time his body got better, his eyes worked again, the pain was almost gone. It didn't matter, nothing mattered, he was deep in sleep and nothing could wake him up. The ground started to grow new grass, flowers and trees.
Animals started to wander back into what was once a wasteland and the boy's sleeping bed.
A strange animal, maybe a fox or a small wolf with three eyes, found the boy and took the opportunity.
The boy woke up and in no time slashed his head off with a burst of light.
"Brother, are you awake?" said the boy while looking around.
On the ground was a set of armor, badly damaged, a worn army sword laying next to it.
Days later, after the boy got ready for departure, he looked back once more at the recently closed hole in the ground with the sword on top.
"Fine, I will live as you told me to. I will make you... make you resent leaving me alone."
Weeks after, he found himself in a small city. The bustling roads that once were like a maze, were nothing harder then traveling in a forest to him. After a few minutes of search he found a building, an adventurer guild, taking a step inside.
