At Demon Slayer HQ, Raja stood before his handpicked trio, exuding the confidence of a divine commander ready to send his troops into glorious battle.
"Alright, listen up!" Raja announced, hands on his hips.
Standing before him were:
đ„ Tengen Uzui â The self-proclaimed God of Flashiness, currently checking his nails for maximum shininess.
đž Kanao Tsuyuri â The quiet, observant one, currently wondering why she was roped into this madness.
đ« Genya Shinazugawa â The Black-hooded human arsenal, frowning in pure confusion.
"Your mission is to infiltrate the Entertainment District and locate the Upper-Rank Demon suspected of abducting Demon Slayers and civilians." Raja said, pacing dramatically.
Tengen grinned. "Ah, the Entertainment District! A place full of pleasure, beauty, and danger⊠Truly the perfect stage for a god like me! and I need to find my Missing Undercover wives."
Genya blinked. "You mean full of lust and sin."
Raja clapped Genya's back. "Exactly! And that's why I'll be going as a rich young master looking for a good time!"
Genya's face contorted in pure horror. "WHAT?!"
Kanao tilted her head. "Then⊠what are we supposed to do?"
"Simple." Raja smirked. "Kanao, you're my maid. Genya, you're my bodyguard."
Tengen raised a hand. "And me?"
"You? You're on recon duty. Find out where the missing civilians were last seen."
Genya crossed his arms. "Why do you get the easy job?"
"Easy?!" Raja laughed. "I'm willingly walking into the lair of a demon who seduces men before devouring them. That's NOT easy, Genya. That's dedication!"
Genya muttered under his breath. "This is the stupidest plan ever."
Tengen clapped his hands together. "It's flashy, though. I approve."
Kanao smiled, already mentally preparing for the absurdity that was about to unfold.
Upon arriving at Yoshiwara Red-Light District, the trio was immediately overwhelmed.
Genya, who had never stepped foot in a place like this, looked around in disbelief. "What⊠is this place?!"
Tengen, standing with his arms crossed, nodded proudly. "Ah, Genya, my boy! This is where men come to experience true happinessâdrinks, music, and beautiful women!"
Genya scowled. "Sounds like a damn nightmare."
Meanwhile, Kanao, who was supposed to be blending in, was already attracting attention simply by being herselfâcalm, observant, and clearly out of place.
Tengen's expression darkened as he turned to Raja. "I swear, if you mess this up, I'll kill you myself."
"Relax," Raja grinned. "What could possibly go wrong?"
The moment he stepped inside the brothel, everything went wrong.
Raja, acting like a wealthy young master, is accompanied by his maid, Kanao, and his bodyguard, Genya, as he prepares for an exciting evening.
The night is set to unfold at the grand Oiran Warabihime, an entertainment district where Raja plans to indulge in all the luxuries and entertainment it has to offer, enjoying the company of his maid and the protection of his bodyguard.
Before heading out for Oiran performance, Raja gives Kanao and Genya their orders to prepare for the night.
They quickly leave to get ready, donning their specialized uniforms.
Kanao dresses in her usual combat attire, blending practicality with elegance, while Genya adopts a more intimidating appearance. Dressed in a striking Black hood, he carries dual Desert Eagles, a shotgun strapped to his back, a Nichirin Assassin's Knife at his side, and a utility belt equipped with explosives and bullet magazines, ready for any danger that may arise.
Together, they stand by on the rooftop of the building waiting for the big signal.
Seated front and center, Raja sipped his drink, watching the district's most famous Oiran, Warabihime (a.k.a. Daki) perform with grace and beauty.
But instead of being enchanted like the rest of the audience, Raja smirked knowingly.
"Lovely performance," Raja remarked, swirling his drink. "Tell me, Warabihime⊠how many have you killed with this little act of yours?"
The entire room fell dead silent.
Daki's smile froze, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"Excuse me?" she purred sweetly.
Raja grinned wider. "Oh, I don't need an answer. I already know. We've been looking for some⊠missing friends of mine. Would you happen to know where you've put them, Daki?"
Daki visibly tensed.
"Who are you?" she whispered, her usual charm cracking.
Before Raja could answer, a massive explosion rocked the building.
BOOOOM!
Raja leaned back in his chair, completely unfazed.
"Ah," he mused. "No need to answer. I think my friend already found them."
15 minutes earlierâŠ
Tengen, scanning the rooftops, had found something odd.
"A massive hollow chamber⊠underground?" Raja advice Tengen to find a underground chamber in the district.
His instincts screamed. Without hesitation, he leaped down and, in one powerful motion, unsheathed his blades.
"Sound Breathing, First Form: Roar!"
KA-BOOOOOOM!!!
A massive shockwave erupted, shaking the entire district.
As the smoke cleared, Tengen found himself standing inside a hidden chamber.
His eyes widened at the sight.
Bodies. Dozens of them, trapped inside obi sashes, their faces frozen in silent screams.
And among themâŠ
His wives.
Tengen gritted his teeth.
"Took me long enough to find you, huh?" he muttered.
Just then, the sentient obilurched toward him, attacking with whip-like precision.
Tengen, smirking, dodged effortlessly.
"Oh? You want to dance? Fine, let's make this flashy!"
With one rapid motion, Tengen sliced through the obi, instantly freeing some of the victims.
The obi froze, sensing Tengen's razor-sharp intuition.
"You're not like the others..." it hissed.
"Damn right, I'm not!" Tengen grinned. "I'm Tengen Uzui! God of Flashiness!"
He dashed forward, cutting through the remaining sashes.
His wives stumbled free, eyes wide with relief.
Tengen, grinning like an idiot, patted their heads.
"You girls did great. Flashy work! You are my wives, alright!"
Back in the brothel, Daki, realizing she'd been exposed, made a run for it.
"Enough talk!" she leaped through the window, landing gracefully on the rooftops.
Before she could escape, two figures burst out of the room into the Rooftop.
Kanao & Genya.
"You're not going anywhere, demon!" Genya growled, cocking his shotgun.
Daki sneered. "Tsk, more pests!"
With blinding speed, she darted across the rooftops, Kanao & Genya hot on her heels.
Genya, firing rapidly, tried to slow her down, while Kanao used her agility to cut off her escape routes.
Below them, Raja casually walked out.
"Ahhh, rooftop chases. So dramatic." he chuckled.
Tengen, now standing beside him, stretched.
"So, what's next?"
Raja grinned.
"Now? Now we hunt her down."
