Xu Ke stood on the balcony, watching from a distance the woman trembling incessantly at the iron gate. His good mood, ruined early in the morning, oddly became joyful again.
Housekeeper Zhao stood behind Xu Ke, looking over at the gate with a hint of a smile on his aged face, "Does the Family Head need me to prepare your clothes for going out today?" he asked softly.
"I have no plans to go out today, so there's no need to prepare anything for now. But it's been a long time since I've seen Grandpa Zhao play tricks on someone like this; it's surprisingly nostalgic," Xu Ke's lips curled up slightly, a reminiscent look in his eyes.
"Mainly because it's been ages since I've encountered such an annoying little girl. As someone who can't speak, I, as an elder, could only step in to teach her how to speak. The Family Head won't blame me for meddling, will you?" Housekeeper Zhao asked with a smirk.
