Chapter 8 - Chapter 1107 Chasing Something Like Madman, The Calamity of the Ninth Prince of the Golden Crow

Flames soared into the sky, unceasing and unending. Life-bearing star systems spanning tens of millions of miles were engulfed and completely burned to ashes.

Di Wen laughed heartily, his wings flapping as even more terrifying flames surged like a waterfall, cascading down.

He paid no attention to the screams of the ants below, his body wreathed in flames as he swiftly passed through various regions.

Fires erupted across the universe, leaving nothing but ruins and ashes in his wake. Di Wen indulged in his rampage, venting the frustration he had built up over time.

The young servant chasing after him was not surprised by this scene.

In fact, seeing Di Wen laugh so freely, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Young Master, once you've vented enough, please follow me back to Tang Valley. Otherwise, if the other princes find out, they'll surely blame me."

"There are a few more life-bearing star systems over there. Why not burn them all to the ground? It'll help you blow off some steam." He caught up and spoke in a flattering tone.

The Nanli Universe was part of the Demon Court's territory, inhabited by various races, including demons, humans, and others.

But in Di Wen's eyes, they were all the same—ants, mere playthings for him to vent his frustrations on.

"These ants should consider it an honor to entertain me."

Hearing the servant's words, he smiled with satisfaction and changed direction, flying toward another life-bearing star system.

Instantly, flames shot into the sky, even more terrifying than before. The intense heat melted ancient life-bearing planets.

Di Wen possessed the most noble bloodline among the demons. Although he usually disliked cultivation, his strength was still terrifying, reaching the level of a Quasi-Immortal Emperor.

For him, slaughtering an entire universe was as easy as a thought.

However, he particularly enjoyed listening to the wails and screams of living beings, watching them turn to ash in the solar true flames.

This gave him an indescribable sense of satisfaction and pleasure.

"Hmm? What's that?"

Suddenly, Di Wen noticed a dazzling seven-colored light streaking across the depths of the sky, falling toward a certain location.

The seven-colored light wasn't very large, resembling a meteor. It seemed to be carrying something, radiant and surrounded by swirling mist.

As he looked at the seven-colored light, he felt an inexplicable deep stirring and desire.

It was as if obtaining that thing could bring about some unimaginable transformation for him.

"A treasure...?"

Without much thought, Di Wen's golden-red eyes burned with intense greed and desire. He stared at the spot where the seven-colored light was falling, flapped his wings, and quickly chased after it.

His speed was incredible, and in the blink of an eye, he crossed a great universe. Yet, he still couldn't catch up to the falling speed of the seven-colored light.

This made Di Wen somewhat impatient and anxious. He sped up even more, almost surpassing the flow of time itself.

In an instant, the heavens and earth rumbled as a terrifying sun crushed through the sky. The intense heat caused the ground to crack and rivers to evaporate. Countless stars along the way turned to dust.

"Young Master, where are you going now?"

"You can't leave the Demon Court!"

"If the Demon Emperor and the other princes find out, they'll never forgive me."

The young servant had thought Di Wen would calm down for a while, but instead, he turned and chased after something without a care in the world.

Pale-faced, the servant hurriedly drove the carriage after him, shouting desperately from behind.

Di Wen was the younger brother of the current Demon Emperor. Compared to his older brothers, he was still very young.

The Demon Ancestor, who had long secluded himself in Yuyuan to contemplate the Great Dao, had fathered Di Wen late in life. The golden crow bloodline was noble, and the stronger one's cultivation, the harder it was to produce offspring.

Because of this, the Demon Ancestor doted on Di Wen, and within the Demon Court, no one dared to defy him.

Even his older brothers sometimes had to yield to his whims.

The young servant was pale with fear. He was only responsible for driving Di Wen's carriage, and his cultivation was far inferior to Di Wen's. There was no way he could catch up now.

He had no idea why Di Wen was chasing after something like a madman, as if he had seen some treasure.

"Could it be that the Ninth Prince has spotted some kind of treasure?"

Knowing Di Wen's greedy nature, the servant could only guess this was the case.

Filled with fear and anxiety, he worried that the other princes would find out and blame him. Not daring to report the matter, he could only chase after Di Wen.

In the blink of an eye, Di Wen chased the seven-colored light across several great universes.

Like a sun crossing the sky, the scorching, blinding heat swept through everything, leaving the territory of the Demon Court behind.

Countless demonic beings and cultivators trembled under the intense heat, feeling as if their bodies were about to melt.

Once upon a time, the Demon Court had dominated the Endless Demon Domain, controlling all its universes and timelines. The golden crow clan had replaced the sun, becoming the sun of the Endless Demon Domain.

Whenever the sun rose, it meant the Demon Emperor of the golden crow clan was riding his chariot, inspecting the Endless Demon Domain, with all demons paying homage and the entire world showing respect.

But that was a long time ago. Now, the Endless Demon Domain was no longer ruled solely by the Demon Court.

However, when the sun formed by Di Wen swept across the various universes, countless demonic beings still shivered in fear, trembling from the depths of their souls.

"Hmph, the Demon Ancestor can't even keep his youngest son in check. He's let him slip out of the Demon Court again."

"I wonder where this guy will cause trouble this time. Last time, he went to the territory of the Imperial Immortal Palace and burned several universes. His older brothers had to clean up the mess afterward."

In the depths of some demonic factions, supreme beings opened their eyes.

Their blood-red eyes, like crimson lakes, hung high in the universe, filled with coldness and intimidation.

Clearly, this wasn't the first time something like this had happened.

Many supreme demonic beings, out of respect for the Demon Ancestor, turned a blind eye to such incidents.

However, some showed mockery and scorn, clearly enjoying the spectacle, before closing their eyes and refusing to get involved.

The Endless Demon Domain, the Imperial Immortal Palace, the Temple of Light and Darkness, and the Immortal Chu Dynasty were not far from each other.

In fact, their territories were quite close.

Soon, Di Wen crossed the borders of the Endless Demon Domain and rushed toward an ancient continent filled with bustling cities and vast populations.

Immortal Chu Dynasty, Longling Ancient Domain.

Xuanluo City.

In a spacious square, immortal mist drifted, and Dao rhythms flowed. Crowds of young figures sat cross-legged, their shadows flickering.

In the center of the square stood an ancient Dao platform, surrounded by purple mist and exuding a heavy, ancient aura.

A figure with a slightly upright posture, dressed in a green robe, stood on the platform with a calm smile, lecturing to the crowd below.
