Chapter 38
Ryousuke didn't feel even a hint of guilt. Why should he? At the end of the day, he was a man, and Nori was his wife. It was his right to take what belonged to him, whether Nori was willing or not.
He lay back against the pillows, arms behind his head as he watched Nori struggle to catch his breath. His small body trembled from exhaustion, but Ryousuke felt no pity. This was a wife's duty, and Nori would do well to remember that.
"You sulked for days," Ryousuke said lazily, reaching out to trace a finger down Nori's spine.
Nori didn't respond, only curled into himself, his back turned. Ryousuke chuckled, amused by his silence. Let him pout—he would come around. He always did.
He raised Nori's leg again, his eyes lingering on the red, swollen hole. A flicker of pity crossed his face, but it was brief—gone as quickly as it came.
