Qi Shi looked troubled, and seeing this, Zhang Shi couldn't help the twitch at the corner of her mouth, thinking she wouldn't mind having a dozen daughters like her.
"This is the child being filial, why are you complaining? If you don't want her, send her to my home. I'd be proud! I'd treat her even better than my own daughter." Zhang Shi couldn't resist rolling her eyes at Qi Shi.
This boasting about her daughter's face is really in need of a smack or something.
Even though Qi Shi knew it was a joke, her expression changed immediately when someone came to snatch up her daughter.
"You must be dreaming. Pity it's not dark yet, huh?" Qi Shi shot Zhang Shi a white-eyed look.
"Hmph, just keep being smug." Zhang Shi couldn't help but laugh, then leaned in close to Qi Shi and whispered, "How did you grow those vegetables? Can I come to your place for a look?"
Thinking about how dissatisfied she was with that, Zhang Shi couldn't hold back anymore.
