"Be careful, it's hot," Kyle Kinston reminded.
So she slowed down her eating a bit.
After a few bites, she heard his voice again, "When you were looking at me just now, what were you thinking?"
She almost spat out the meat she hadn't swallowed yet, "N-nothing, I just thought you seem pretty skilled at grilling skewers."
"My mom used to run a skewer stall, and sometimes I would help her out," Kyle said calmly.
But Mabel Quinn was shocked when she heard this. Kyle Kinston's mother... used to run a skewer stall? And he helped when he was a child? That sounded unbelievable. "But aren't you the young master of the Kinston Family?"
He chuckled lightly, but there was a hint of obvious sarcasm in his laugh, "Apparently there's not much information about me online. I entered the Kinston Family at nine; before that, my life with my mother in K City was far from comfortable."
