You know what, after that emotional breakdown I had, I actually felt a lot better. Blaine I have to get you something nice.
So now here I am in the cinnabar island forest staring curiously at my pokemon. It was time to deal with the newest revelation.
I can understand them now.
"Ok, one of you at a time. You can all choose who goes first." I said as they grouped up and started whispering to each other, I quickly snapped a photo of them.
"Me first!" Eevee said happily as she bounded forward. I idly noted that I understood her on some level of bullshit, but also noted that she was still speaking in her normal way.
This was probably aura bullshit.
"Alright, what do you want to ask first?" I was curious, she's a very excited girl, so it's nice to see that she sounds like that too.
"Do you love me?" I smiled softly as I knelt down to her level.
"Very much so. You are my darling little one, I will always love and cherish you." I said and she smiled before she started glowing, and you know, this makes a lot of sense.
"Sylveon." I whispered in awe, she was so beautiful.
"I evolved! I Evovled! Don't I look pretty daddy!?" I sucked in a deep breath, did I just adopt without adopting?
One of her tendrils wrapped around my arm carefully and bringing me back to focus.
"Yes, you're very pretty sweetheart." I said with a chuckle as I gently rubbed her head and ears. She purred before she laid down at my side.
The next to move up was Lapras. He slowly moved forward.
"Do you like my singing?" He asked cheerfully and I smiled as I gently held his head and caressed it.
"Very much so my dear bard. Your songs are beautiful and clear the path for our victories. Lightning the hearts of us all and terrifying the enemies." I answered his simple question and he sung another as he moved to sit besides Sylveon who was curiously moving her ribbons around.
I'd have to help train her on that.
Koraidon and Haunter moved forward together. My two starter pokemon, my most loyal companions, even if I'm only at four of them currently.
"I don't remember much of my life before becoming a ghost, I remember pain and bright lights. Endless suffering, but then it stopped. I died and was reborn as a Gastly. I wandered about at night, avoiding battle in fear of pain, but then a voice offered me salvation. A life of love and care. Fun and happiness. I choose to accept it, and then I was inside the pokeball." Haunter let a fake cackle out as he lifted his shades, and I stared into a pair of eyes I used to see in the mirror all the time. My own.
"Then you let me out. I can remember your first words Hello you two, I'm Raven Inanis, and I supposed I'm your trainer. I hope we can get along well. I knew in that moment you were like me, unsure, hurting and perhaps even scared. I realized the voice was right, together we could be a family and happy. I was right, we are happy and a family." Haunter let a real cackle out this time as he put his shades down again.
"You messed up in our most recent battle. You got arrogant and prideful in your knowledge. However that's fine, mistakes happen and we learn from them. Together." Haunter was very wise and I felt so happy to have him with me, even if he could be a giant pain in my ass.
"Together. Will you protect me my loyal guardian. Command the shadows and protect this family we've created? Be my hidden guardian?" I asked and he cackled as he slunk into my shadow with his beady eyes blinking in my shadow.
"He said a lot of what I would have said. My story is pretty simple, I was the runt of my family, but I was the princess of the clan, fragile and weak, my father was a loving Pokémon, he cared where others would have tossed me away to die alone. Then we were betrayed, one of our members attacked to try and take over the role as alpha. He failed, but father worried. However before we could move dens, a battle between legends broke out, the gods fought and my den was nearly destroyed." Koraidon said as she laid down, her eyes staring directly into mine, and I could see the story she was weaving, as if I was there.
"However time seemed to freeze, everyone stopped, but myself and my father, then he appeared. Lord Arceus appeared, he offered to save the clan in exchange for me going with him to the future. He promised me strength, love and care. I didn't want to leave my father, but my father convinced me. I was my meant for here and now. To be with you. Perhaps that's just Lord Arceus including my mind, but I don't care, I'm happy and I know my father would be happy to know that I am happy and loved. Strong." Koraidon whispered gently as she stood up and touched our foreheads together.
"Maybe one day we will lose, stumble, trip and fall, but it doesn't mean we can't just get right back up and go over the challenge in front of us. Seperated we are weak, but together-"
"We are unbeatable!" I finished and she smiled at me as he roared to the sky, and like always, I knew we would prevail no matter what.
"Now that we can communicate, tell me more, I want to know everything about you guys and galls." I said with a smile as they started blabbering.
Koraidon laid her head in my lap, and I knew everything would be fine. I gently scratched her head noting she seemed to be feeling it much more now, perhaps aura boosted my strength with this recent event.

"You had an interesting day." Arceus said as he appeared in my dreams again, he's been doing it basically every night almost.
"Very interesting. Also I have to ask, did you…" I didn't finish as Arceus lowered his head to my height, he didn't exactly have a mouth, but I felt he was smiling.
"I didn't influence anything, in fact my actions had no influence on them too much. Koraidon was due to die, an uneventful life, unhappy and sad, I heard her prayers, and so I saved her, offering her to become your Pokemon. If she had said no, I would have done nothing and just found another Koraidon. I may be able to control it, but I like to leave the fate of everyone to themselves." Arceus said as the memories of his talk with Koraidon and her father appeared inside my own.
No single time to try and force it, merely facts.
"Your Haunter has a very troubled past as a person alive, he would have disappeared into gases as some Gastly do, but he would have let himself go without issue, I like for my Pokemon to live, to exist. Be their lived happy, sad or worse. They should exist and strive for something. So I made my offer to him."
I nodded in understanding, I also understood the subtle wanting in his tone, something was happening in this world, and it would be interesting.
"Those who are hiding in the shadows wish to burst into the light, foes and allies alike must unite or be destroyed. Humanity doesn't have the best track record, so can they survive?" Arceus asked and I laughed joyfully.
"Who knows, but that's the fun part isn't it? The unknown, the curiousness if humanity will destory itself, because it will one day, the fall of humanity will be by their own hands, but will it be today, tomorrow, a month, a year, a decade, a century, a millenia? Who knows, and that is what makes life exciting! The unknown future!" I was probably talking like a crazy person, but Arceus laughed in joy.
"Exactly. Humanity is such a curious species. Your mind just appeared one day. In some realms you're based off the forms of the divine, in some you just appeared by the whims of a creator, but why is it that your kind appeared in their minds?" Arceus asked and I laughed.
"Who knows."
"Yes, who knows. Hmm, it seems I must go, my unruly children are threatening to destroy a realm with their tantrums." Arceus said before I found myself waking up.
I chuckled softly as I looked around and saw my Pokemon all curled up around me.
My family was here and I was happy. The future might become bleak, but I think we'll pull through.

No 2000+ word chapter this time, I'm feeling lazy today. Did a bunch of work on my families vehicles. Changed the oil and the filters. Fresh coolant. Break fluid. Bunch of pain in the ass work. Not to mention the errands I ran too.
