Chapter 17 - Chapter 17 (short r18)

Reina leaned against the kitchen counter, scrolling through her phone, waiting for the food delivery. She had thrown on a loose silk robe, its hem barely brushing mid-thigh.

Suddenly feeling eyes on her, she looked up from her phone and saw Oliver standing in the doorway. He was halfway dressed, his shirt unbuttoned, placing his toned abs on full display, while his pants were unzipped.

Reina felt her breath hitch in her throat as she took him in. His muscular frame was lean yet powerful-looking. She could still see the glistening remnants of their earlier activities between his legs.

"Oliver," Reina said softly with surprise. "What are you doing out here?"

Oliver shrugged nonchalantly and walked towards her. "I guess I didn't quite get my fill earlier, so I came here looking for a quick snack."

Reina's heart skipped a beat as he approached her. She could feel the heat radiating off his body even from where she stood.

Reina swallowed hard as Oliver stopped in front of her, close enough that their bodies were almost touching. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest, and she knew he must be able to hear it too.

"I...I ordered dinner already," she stammered softly. "It should be here soon."

Oliver smirked at her nervously. "I wasn't talking about food," he said huskily.

He reached out and ran a finger along the collar of Reina's robe, making her shiver.

"I thought maybe we could have a little...appetizer while we wait."

Reina's breath caught in her throat as Oliver's finger traced the edge of her robe, dipping just slightly inside to brush against the swell of her breast.

She knew she should protest, tell him that they shouldn't be doing this again so soon after what had happened earlier. But her body betrayed her, and all she could do was lean into his touch.

"Oliver..." she whispered softly in warning, but there wasn't any real conviction behind it.

Oliver took Reina's lack of protest as encouragement and leaned in closer, pressing his body against hers. He could feel her heart racing beneath the thin silk robe.

"Reina," he whispered huskily into her ear. "You're so fucking beautiful."

He nipped at her earlobe gently before trailing kisses down the side of her neck, making her gasp softly.

Reina's hands found their way to Oliver's chest, gripping at the muscles there tightly. She wanted to push him away, but instead she pulled him closer, her body aching for his touch once more.

"Oliver," Reina gasped out. "We shouldn't...Yuki is still asleep..."

Oliver looked up at Reina from where he was now kissing along her collarbone. "I know," he said softly, but there was a wicked glint in his eye. "But I promise to be quiet...for now."

With that, Oliver slipped one hand inside Reina's robe and cupped one of her breasts gently while using his other hand to untie the sash around her waist.

Reina moaned softly as Oliver's hand found her breast, his thumb brushing against her nipple. She could feel herself growing wetter by the second.

"Oliver..." she gasped out again, but this time it was more of a plea than a protest.

He looked up at her with those hungry eyes and smirked before capturing one of her nipples in his mouth, swirling his tongue around it until Reina thought she might come undone right then and there.

Reina's breath hitched as Oliver continued to tease and suck at her nipple, sending waves of pleasure coursing through her body. She knew they shouldn't be doing this here, not with Yuki still asleep down the hallway and the food delivery on its way. But she couldn't bring herself to stop him.

"Oliver," she gasped out, trying one last time to maintain some semblance of control. "We can't...not here."

Oliver looked up at her with a wicked grin. "Why not?" he challenged softly. "I thought you liked a little adventure."

Reina's cheeks flushed at the reminder of her earlier words. She had said that, hadn't she? And God help her, but she did like it.

"Because..." Reina started to protest, but Oliver cut her off by capturing her mouth in a searing kiss.

Reina melted into Oliver's kiss, her body pressing against his eagerly. She could feel the hard length of him pressed against her stomach, and it only served to make her more eager for him.

Oliver broke away from their kiss long enough to whisper in her ear, What if I promise to make it quick?"

Reina bit her lip, considering his offer. She knew they were playing with fire here, but she couldn't deny how much she wanted him.

"Okay," she finally whispered back. "But you have to be quiet."

Oliver grinned at her and spun them around so that Reina's back was against the countertop. He hiked up her robe and lifted one of her legs, wrapping it around his waist as he removed his pants and positioned himself at her entrance.

Reina gasped as Oliver pushed into her, filling her completely. She bit down hard on her lip to keep from crying out as he began to move inside of her.

Oliver leaned in close, his breath hot against Reina's ear. "You feel so fucking good," he growled softly.

Reina could only whimper in response as Oliver set a steady pace, his hips moving in a slow grind against hers.

"Touch yourself," Oliver commanded huskily. "I want you to come with me."

Reina hesitated for a moment before reaching between their bodies and finding that sensitive bundle of nerves at the top of her slit. She started rubbing herself in time with Oliver's thrusts.

Reina's fingers moved faster and with more urgency as Oliver picked up the pace between her legs.

His thrusts became harder, more insistent as he chased after their release.

Reina could feel herself building quickly towards her orgasm as Oliver's hips slammed against hers roughly.

She bit down harder on her lip to keep from crying out but couldn't help the soft moans that escaped through gritted teeth.

"Oh god..." Reina gasped softly and buried her face against Oliver's shoulder in an attempt to muffle her voice and not wake Yuki.

Oliver grunted in response, his grip tightening around Reina's thigh as he pounded into her relentlessly.

"I'm close..." Reina whimpered softly before biting down hard on his shoulder, stifling the scream building in his throat.

Oliver groaned loudly when he felt Reina's teeth sink into his flesh, pushing him closer towards release.

Oliver's movements became even more frantic as he felt Reina's body tense around him, her orgasm washing over her. He couldn't hold back any longer.

"Fuck," he groaned softly into Reina's neck as his own release hit him like a tidal wave.

He came hard, his cock pulsing inside of her as he filled her with his hot seed.

Reina's body continued to shake with aftershocks as she rode out her own orgasm, their combined moans and gasps filling the kitchen.

As they both came down from their high, Oliver leaned his forehead against Reina's, their breaths still unsteady.

"That was… intense," he whispered softly.

Reina nodded weakly, her voice barely above a murmur. "It was… but we shouldn't have done that here."

Oliver smiled sheepishly. "You're right… but it felt too good not to."

Before Reina could respond, the sound of approaching footsteps made them both freeze.

"Mom? Oliver-senpai?" Yuki's sleepy voice called out as she entered the kitchen, rubbing her eyes. "I woke up, and you guys weren't there…"

Reina quickly pushed Oliver away, straightening her robe in a hurried attempt to look composed, while Oliver simply pulled up his pants.

"Hey, sweetheart," she said, forcing a casual tone. "We were just… uh… getting something to drink."

Yuki's gaze flickered between her mother and Oliver, suspicion creeping into her expression, but she didn't press the matter.

Oliver turned to the cabinet, grabbing two glasses and filling them with water while Reina tried her best not to look guilty.

"Here," he said, handing Yuki one of the glasses. "Thirsty?"

Yuki hesitated for a moment before taking it and sipping slowly. "Thanks," she mumbled.

Just then, the doorbell rang, cutting through the tension.

"Saved by the bell," Reina said, exhaling in relief as she hurried to answer it.

As Reina walked toward the door, Oliver leaned against the counter, watching Yuki out of the corner of his eye. She was still holding the glass of water, staring at it as if lost in thought.

"You okay?" he asked, keeping his voice casual.

Yuki blinked and looked up at him, her expression unreadable. "Yeah… my legs are just a little bit shaky."

Before Oliver could respond, Reina returned, carrying a few bags of takeout. "Food's here," she announced, setting them on the counter. "Sweetheart, can you help set up the table before the food gets cold?"

Yuki stretched her arms sleepily before nodding. "Sure."

The dining table was just a few steps away, within the kitchen's open space, separate from the main living area. The doorway leading out of the kitchen connected to the hallway and the living room, but for now, everything was centered around the warm glow of the kitchen lights.

Oliver helped unpack the food while Yuki grabbed plates and utensils. The aroma of fresh takeout filled the air—steamed rice, grilled fish, crispy tempura, and a container of miso soup still warm to the touch. Reina had also picked up some yakitori skewers and a side of gyoza, knowing they were Yuki's favorite.

Yuki set the table while Oliver handed her the dishes, their movements easy and natural. Reina poured tea for everyone, then took a seat, letting out a small sigh of contentment.

"Got your favorite," she said with a smile, nudging the gyoza toward Yuki.

Yuki's face lit up slightly as she picked up a piece. "Thanks, Mom."

Oliver took a bite of the grilled fish, nodding in approval. "This place is good. Where'd you order from?"

"A small spot nearby," Reina replied. "They use charcoal grilling for the fish—it makes all the difference."

Yuki nodded as she popped another gyoza into her mouth. "Yeah, it's really good."

As they ate, the conversation flowed easily between them. Oliver asked Yuki about her day, and she told him about her classes and the project she was working on with a group of friends.

Reina listened in amusement as Yuki animatedly described their plans for a presentation next week.

"Sounds like you're really enjoying your studies," Oliver commented with a smile.

Yuki nodded eagerly. "I am! I can't wait to graduate, though."

Reina chuckled softly. "You say that now, but when it actually happens... You'll probably miss it," Reina finished with a knowing smile.

Yuki made a face. "Doubt it. I'm ready to be done with exams and group projects."

Oliver chuckled, reaching for another piece of tempura. "Yeah, but then comes work, responsibilities, and wishing you could go back to just stressing over tests."

Yuki sighed dramatically. "Don't remind me."

Reina smirked. "Well, at least enjoy it while you can. Once you're working, you'll look back and realize how easy you had it."

Yuki playfully rolled her eyes.

They continued eating, the warm atmosphere making the late-night dinner feel more like a small family gathering. The conversation shifted to lighter topics—funny stories from Reina's work, Oliver mentioning a weird customer he'd encountered at his part-time job, and Yuki talking about an upcoming school event.

After a while, Reina leaned back in her chair, sipping her tea with a satisfied sigh. "That hit the spot."

Oliver stretched his arms. "Yeah, I needed that."

Yuki nodded, finishing the last bite of her gyoza before glancing at the clock.

Reina followed her gaze. "You should probably get some more rest, sweetheart."

Yuki yawned but didn't move just yet. "I will in a bit."

Oliver stood and began clearing the table. "I'll help clean up."

Reina smiled at him. "Thanks, Oliver."

Yuki watched them for a moment, then got up to put her dishes in the sink. "I'll help too."

With all three of them working together, the cleanup was quick, leaving the kitchen spotless once more.

As Reina dried the last dish, she glanced at Yuki. "Are you heading to bed now?"

Yuki hesitated for a second before nodding. "Yeah… goodnight, Mom. Night, Oliver-senpai."

"Goodnight, sweetheart," Reina said warmly.

"Night, and I probably should get my uniform and get outta here," Oliver added as he fixed his hair slightly and began buttoning up his shirt.

He then traced his eyes down Yuki's naked body; in a rush, she hadn't put on any clothes after waking up, leaving her clearly swollen lower lips and slightly bruised areas on her hips and ass bare for the world to see. "Make sure you get some proper rest, and if you don't feel well tomorrow, don't push yourself to go to school, okay?"

"Oh... right. Goodnight," she said softly, a slight blush creeping onto her cheeks as she turned and left the kitchen.

As the warmth of the kitchen faded behind them, Reina walked beside Oliver, their footsteps soft against the wooden floor. The dim glow from the living room lamps cast long shadows along the walls, making the space feel quieter, more intimate.

Reina moved ahead slightly, stopping near the couch where she had neatly placed his school blazer and bag. She picked them up with practiced ease, then turned to face him, holding them out.

"Here," she said, her voice calm but firm.

Oliver took them with a smirk. "Thanks. Guess I was in too much of a rush earlier."

Reina arched a brow, crossing her arms. "You don't say."

He chuckled, slipping into his blazer, adjusting the collar before slinging his bag over one shoulder. She watched him for a moment, her expression unreadable, before motioning toward the door. Without another word, they walked together down the hallway, the soft creak of the floor beneath them the only sound.

Once they reached the entryway, Oliver set his bag down for a moment, bending down to put on his shoes. Reina leaned against the doorway, arms still folded, watching him with a look that was somewhere between amusement and something softer—something unspoken.

"You should come back sometime," she said, tilting her head slightly. "You know you're always welcome here."

Oliver straightened, giving her a knowing smirk. "Yeah? Even after tonight?"

Reina rolled her eyes, but there was warmth in her gaze. "Just don't push your luck."

He chuckled, standing fully now, his hands resting loosely at his sides. For a moment, they just stood there, the air between them thick with something unspoken. Then, as if following some silent understanding, Reina stepped closer.

She reached up, pressing a soft, lingering kiss against his lips. It wasn't rushed or teasing—just warm, lingering for a second longer before she pulled away.

"Get home safe," she murmured, her voice quieter now.

Oliver exhaled through his nose, his smirk softer this time. "Yeah. See you around."

He grabbed his bag, slinging it over his shoulder as he stepped out into the night. Reina lingered in the doorway, watching as he disappeared down the street, before finally closing the door with a quiet sigh.

As Oliver stepped out into the quiet night, the air was crisp, carrying the distant hum of the Yoruichi Ward beyond the Neighborhood of Hoshizakura. The streetlights flickered, casting long shadows against the pavement. He exhaled, his breath visible in the cool air, adjusting his bag over his shoulder as he made his way down the street.

But then—he felt it.

A prickling sensation crawled up his spine, like an unseen weight pressing against him. The distinct feeling of being watched.

His steps slowed, his gaze flickering toward the rooftops, the alleyways, anywhere someone might be lurking. Nothing. Just the stillness of the night.

He shook his head, forcing himself to keep walking. I'm just imagining things.

But high above, perched on the rooftop of a neighboring house, someone was watching.

She sat with one knee drawn up, her school skirt brushing against her thigh as the night wind played with the hem. The dim glow of the streetlights barely touched her, but her eyes gleamed unnaturally in the dark. She had been watching him the entire time, her gaze tracing his movements, her breath steady as if she had all the time in the world.

Oliver's uniform clung to him slightly, still wrinkled from earlier, but her own uniform was pristine.

And even more strange, even though she had never set foot inside Tachibana residence.

Still, she had seen everything.

Every glance, every whisper, every heated exchange within. She had watched it unfold as if the walls didn't exist for her. The thin silver rune etched into her pupil flickered once before fading, the clairvoyance she had been using finally coming to an end.

She didn't move, didn't speak, only observed as Oliver disappeared further down the street.

Then, a second presence emerged beside her.

A man. Tall, draped in a long black coat, his hands tucked into his pockets. His face was unreadable, but the way he carried himself exuded quiet authority. Unlike the girl, who had watched intently, he had remained unseen, waiting for her conclusion.

"So?" His voice was deep, measured. "What do you think of him?"

The girl didn't answer immediately. Her gaze lingered on Oliver's retreating form, a strange glint in her eyes.

The man tilted his head slightly, as if already knowing what she was thinking. "Should we deal with him now… or let him go for the time being?"

Finally, she spoke, her voice smooth, carrying the faintest trace of amusement.

"…Let him go. For now."

The man let out a soft chuckle, his breath visible in the cold air. "Interesting choice."

She didn't elaborate. Instead, she finally stood, stretching her arms slightly before stepping back into the darkness.

And just like that—both figures vanished, leaving only the whisper of the wind behind.
