" My baby, my baby," Mom cries out, still unconscious.
Dad's hold her hands, trying to make her firm on the bed.
"My son," I hear mom say those words, my heart breaks.
I am beside her, holding onto her hands like my life depends on it.
" Come back home," She wails again,
I look at Dad confused,
"I need to get the doctors,"
I say rushing out immediately,
A nurse follows me inside immediately, I run to dad embrace,
We watch as the nurse rushes to her side, checking vitals, calling for backup.
Her movements are swift but careful, like she's done this a thousand times, but never like this.
"BP's dropping!" The nurse shouts.
Another nurse storms in with a crash cart. Dad pulls me tighter into his chest, but I can't stop looking. I won't stop looking.
"Stay with us, ma'am. Stay with us," The nurse pleads, tapping Mom's face gently.
"Mom!" I scream, my voice cracking like glass, "I'm right here. I didn't leave, I'm right here!"
