Chapter 201 - Chapter 201: Monster Attack

Roa looked down, and Est, with an unhappy expression, said, "Master needs to learn to refuse, okay?"

Roa was somewhat surprised. He thought for a moment, then reached out to pat Est's forehead. Est wasn't very tall, about the same height as Roxy, and he could easily reach her forehead with a slight stretch.

Her silky smooth hair glided through Roa's fingers, and the warmth from her hair made him feel pleasant.

Roa smiled and said, "Haven't I already refused?"

Est didn't reject Roa's head patting. Seeing Roa's completely clueless expression, she couldn't help but sigh, "Master, you're making it very difficult for me."

Roa asked in confusion, "Difficult? Why?"

Est looked up seriously and said, "In the future, there will definitely be many girls like that around the master. If you just refuse like this, it won't solve the problem at all."

Roa thought for a moment, understood Est's meaning, and nodded, "I see. Should I be a bit harsher?"

Est nodded.

Searching for information was a troublesome task; the library had many books, and finding a few that Roa wanted among so many was no easy feat.

After about an hour of looking, Roa lost interest and began to walk down the corridor with Est.

However, a noisy sound came from the corridor, and a figure with blue hair was rushing down the hallway.

That figure looked familiar. Roa glanced at her and called out her name: "Ellis, what's wrong?"

Ellis paused her hurried steps, turned back to look at Roa, and quickly explained the situation.

"A large number of monsters have appeared in the Spirit Forest and are preparing to attack the academy's gates."

Roa frowned. He had heard Ellis mention that the monsters had been unusually active lately, but he didn't expect trouble to arise today.

Roa asked, "So, what are you planning to do?"

Ellis raised an eyebrow and said, "What else can we do? If we send all the teachers from the academy to the gates, if other monsters break in, there will be no one to protect the students and the important secrets of the academy. So, we can only let the Sylphid Knights handle it."

Ellis's two little followers tugged at her sleeve. Ellis glanced at Roa and said directly, "I have things to do, so I'll go first. If you're willing to help, go to the academy and notify those students. If we can't hold the gates, let them take refuge! I'll explain the rest to you tonight."

Then she hurriedly headed toward the gates.

Roa had no intention of following her. Ellis's strength was quite good; if it was just ordinary monsters, they shouldn't be a match for her.

Thinking of this, Roa naturally began to stroll around.

Roa didn't want to seek trouble, but trouble always found him.

In the office, Greyworth glanced at Roa and Est standing nearby, took a sip of tea, and said, "You seem quite relaxed."

Roa casually replied, "If it's just some monsters, they can't possibly take down the academy."

Greyworth shrugged, casually leaning back in her chair, her gray eyes flickering with an inexplicable meaning, her glasses sparkling in the sunlight.

"If it were just some monsters, they wouldn't have the ability to take down this academy, which specializes in training spirit masters and has teachers whose strength rivals that of the imperial spirit knights."

"But that doesn't mean they can be dealt with by this group of little girls from the Sylphid Knights."

Greyworth didn't have much faith in Ellis, which surprised Roa a bit.

Roa curiously asked, "Does the academy often get attacked?"

Greyworth explained, "Not often, but there have been a few instances where a few monsters from the Spirit Forest went wild and accidentally entered the academy. After all, our academy is located in the Spirit Forest, so encountering monster attacks is quite normal. Most of the monsters in the Spirit Forest come through the gate from the Astral Zero, but such a large-scale monster attack seems to indicate that someone is provoking them from behind."

"After all, solitary monsters cannot form a threat; the Sylphid Knights can easily handle them."

With such straightforward words, Roa instantly understood Greyworth's meaning.

At the same time, Roa remembered something and said to Greyworth, "I previously saw a girl with black wings; her strength was quite strong, and she gave me a very unfriendly feeling."

Greyworth pondered for a moment. The information Roa provided was too sparse, and with just this little information, it was impossible to make a judgment. However, if Roa described her as strong, then she was worth considering.

"So it's her."

Suddenly, Greyworth narrowed her eyes, a smirk appearing on her face, revealing a mischievous smile.

Seeing Greyworth's expression, Roa felt a chill run down his spine.

This witch was definitely thinking of something bad, and judging by her expression, she must have sensed something about that person.

Roa didn't say much more and directly asked, "So, do you need me to take action?"

Greyworth nodded, "Go help them; otherwise, I feel like something unexpected will happen."

Thus, Roa was sent off to carry out the task.

Watching Roa's departing figure, Greyworth murmured, "Restia Ashdoll, what are you planning?"

By the time Roa arrived at the academy gates, the scene had become precarious.

Monsters of various bizarre shapes, comparable in size to giant dinosaurs, were roaring and charging at the academy gates, using their bodies to slam against the doors.

A faint halo appeared on the academy gates, rippling and keeping all the giant beasts at bay.

Roa looked around, seeing spirit masters in knight uniforms extending their hands toward the gates, bright light blooming in their hands. The light flickered like phosphorescence; though not bright, it kept flashing.

The divine power from the girls was continuously being infused, and the fireflies gathered together, providing a steady stream of energy for the gates.

That thin layer of light was the barrier created by these spirit masters of the Sylphid Knights using spirit magic.

However, it was evident that this faint halo was not enough to withstand the assault of the monsters.

Roa's gaze scanned the area and found Ellis struggling to hold on.

At the forefront of the Sylphid Knight Order, Ellis also extended a hand, continuously infusing divine power into the barrier. Compared to the faint phosphorescence of others, Ellis's radiance was much brighter, but her face was drenched in sweat.
