Shuri slowly opened her eyes, her vision blurry as she adjusted to the bright lights. The first thing she saw was Noran, his light blue eyes filled with worry as he looked at her.
"Rin, you're awake. How are you feeling?" he asked gently.
"Ran? W-Where am I?" Shuri replied, trying to sit up but feeling weak.
"This is the hospital, Rin. I found you hurt and unconscious. A strange man tried to pick you up…" Noran began explaining, his voice steady but tinged with concern.
However, he didn't mention that he had used his divine blessing to locate her, a power that seemed to have grown stronger now that they were reunited.
Noran had recently discovered more about this gifted blessing, secrets he chose to keep to himself for now.
He also left out the part where he had kicked Sigmund for trying to touch her, not wanting Shuri to see the violent side of him.
