It had been several days since the knights left for the battlefield. Seraphine sat alone in her room at Theodore's residence. She was worried about the three knights, worried that they would return injured.
She knew, however, that they were strong knights and would surely return safely. Even if they would later be injured, she was there ready to treat their wounds.
For a few days too, Seraphine didn't know what to do and felt bored staying in her room. Usually she did chores when she was with the 3 knights, but this time she was at the Duke's Mansion where she was a guest.
Theodore forbade her to do chores and asked her to enjoy her time.
"How can I enjoy my time if it's like this? I'll just die of boredom doing nothing," she muttered and left the room, trying to get around the Duke's mansion.
Theodore was busy attending a meeting between himself and other nobles. That's why Seraphine was left alone in the mansion along with the other servants.
