"You ignorant lowly servant!" the butler shouted and slapped Seraphine in front of the Duke.

Seraphine froze as the hand hit her face quite hard. She could feel the sting on her right cheek from the slap.
However, she still did not show any fear or regret for refusing his orders.
"Now take off your clothes, and pull up to comfort His Grace!" said the butler.
She made no reply, but stared at the servant with an unusual look. She stuck to her decision, not because she was too stupid to go against the nobleman's words but Seraphine that women were not comfort dolls but they had pride.
