Dimitri and Lily stayed to watch Lady Kyoka's condition which was steadily on the mend. Lily was sure they could leave in a day or two. The lady is a tough dragon, stronger than Lily thought possible since the wound she sustained should have killed her. But she was on the mend and Trinee was aware and would keep the dragon moss growing while she was away.
Lily was still having a hard time figuring out why they attacked the temple. It wasn't an important landmark and it was in a remote location away from the city. There had to be something here they were after if nothing else. She wondered what could be hidden here that would be valuable to the darkling dragons.
Dimitri had also looked through the wreckage, but it seemed like he was looking for something specific. He didn't say what he was searching for, but Lily had a feeling it had something to do with the massacred village. She had always wondered why Dimitri and his squad were at that village to begin with.
