The blue-haired waitress who greeted them was none other than Syr Flova, the kind-hearted girl known for her habit of gifting bento boxes to adventurers in the original story.
"Lady Hestia, and what would the two adventurers like to eat? I recommend trying today's special!" Syr said warmly, clearly familiar with the petite goddess.
"We'll have that then," Su Hai replied with a polite smile as he glanced around the bustling tavern.
The Hostess of Fertility truly lived up to its reputation as Orario's most popular adventurer's restaurant.
The hall was packed with various adventurer teams, their laughter and loud conversations creating a lively atmosphere. Plates of food and mugs of ale clinked together as stories of dungeon exploits were shared with gusto.
"Come on, drink up!"
"We made a killing today—let's celebrate!"
"Yeah, yeah!"
Su Hai observed the scene with quiet amusement, though his gaze soon lingered on the tavern's staff. His instincts told him that the women working here were far from ordinary.
In particular, the proprietress—a towering woman from the Giant race—stood out. Her presence rivaled that of Finn Deimne, the heroic captain of the Loki Familia.
Su Hai also took note of the green-haired elf waitress and the playful catgirl waitress, both of whom carried themselves with the grace and strength of seasoned warriors.
"Here you go, Lady Hestia. Please enjoy your meal!"
Syr returned shortly, accompanied by the elf waitress, Lyu Leon, and the catgirl waitress, Anya Fromel.
Each woman carried large plates of seafood spaghetti, along with drinks and several side dishes. The portions were generous, to say the least.
Liliruca's eyes widened in surprise at the sight of the heaping plates.
"As adventurers, you need to eat well if you want the strength to explore the dungeon," Syr explained with a smile, having clearly noticed Liliruca's reaction.
Her calm and gentle tone suggested that she had offered this advice to many young adventurers before.
Despite the large portions, the rich aroma of the food was enough to set their stomachs rumbling. Without further hesitation, the trio picked up their utensils and began eating.
The first bite sent a burst of flavor across Su Hai's tongue, and he quickly understood why the tavern was so popular.
However, peace rarely lasted long in a place full of adventurers.
"Hey, kid! Are you new around here?"
The gruff voice belonged to a burly adventurer seated at the neighboring table. His face was flushed from drinking too much ale, and the strong smell of alcohol clung to him.
The man—who introduced himself as Beimon—slammed his mug down onto Su Hai's table, leering at both Hestia and Liliruca with barely concealed jealousy.
"What kind of adventurer drinks juice? Come on, have a drink with us! Or better yet—why don't the two lovely ladies join us instead?"
Liliruca's eyes narrowed in disgust, while Hestia's cheeks puffed up in irritation.
"Leave," Su Hai said coldly, setting down his utensils.
His tone was calm, but the threat beneath his words was unmistakable.
"Hah! Did you hear that? The rookie's got guts!" Beimon's companions burst into laughter, their drunken jeers echoing through the tavern.
"You're asking for it, kid!" Beimon snarled, his pride stung by both Su Hai's words and his own companions' laughter.
Without warning, he raised his fist and swung it toward Su Hai's head.
In that moment, Su Hai's gaze sharpened. His right hand moved instinctively to the hilt of his Nichirin Blade (Sun Blade). If Beimon crossed the line, Su Hai had no qualms about cutting him down where he stood.
"Don't cause trouble in the tavern!"
Before Su Hai could draw his sword, a figure moved faster than the eye could follow.
A slender hand caught Beimon's wrist mid-swing, stopping the attack with ease. In the next instant, Beimon was sent crashing to the ground with a swift kick to the stomach.
The attacker was none other than Lyu Leon, the level 4 elf waitress.
"This is a place for eating, not fighting. Anyone who dares to make trouble will be thrown out immediately," she stated firmly, her expression stern.
"That's right! Keep causing problems, and you'll be eating dirt outside!"
From behind the counter, Mia Grand, the tavern's formidable proprietress and former captain of the Freya Familia, added her voice to Lyu's warning.
Even without raising her voice, the sheer presence of the level 6 giantess was enough to silence the entire tavern.
Beimon, thoroughly humiliated, scrambled to his feet and staggered back to his table. His companions, now sober enough to realize the danger they were in, quickly finished their meals, paid their tab, and fled the tavern.
"Hestia, Lily—you two stay here and finish eating. I need to step outside for a moment."
Su Hai stood from his seat, his voice calm but firm.
Liliruca's eyes flicked toward the door, a sense of foreboding in her chest. But she said nothing, simply nodding in understanding.
"Hey, kid! He was just a drunk fool. Why bother—"
"Not everyone has to answer for their mistakes… But if someone dares to lay a hand on the people around me, that mistake will cost them dearly."
Su Hai's words were spoken softly, but there was an undeniable finality in his tone. Without another glance, he adjusted the hilt of his sword and stepped outside.
Mia Grand exchanged a knowing look with Lyu, both of them silently acknowledging what was about to happen.
"Lyu, isn't that boy just a rookie adventurer? Does he really plan to confront Beimon?" Syr asked, her tone filled with genuine concern.
While Su Hai's calm demeanor and confident aura had impressed her, she knew that Beimon was a level 3 adventurer—far beyond the capabilities of a typical rookie.
Lyu glanced toward the door, her emerald eyes reflecting a mix of curiosity and expectation.
"Perhaps… But something tells me that young man isn't as ordinary as he seems."
