Zara swallowed hard, her grip on Ace's arm loosening as Gina stood in front of her, right beside Irene.
Her long, wavy ginger hair cascaded over her shoulders, framing her delicate face— perfect, polished, and utterly infuriating.
Irene's eyes gleamed with amusement as she glanced between Gina and Zara. "Your fiancé?" she repeated, her voice laced with laughter. "Oh, this just got better."
Zara's breath hitched. She felt Ace's grip tighten around her waist firmly, like a silent reassurance. Yet, the heat creeping up her neck betrayed her, her entire body stiff with humiliation.
