Dantooine – The Reclaimed Jedi Temple
.
..
.
The morning sun cast long golden rays across the restored Jedi Temple of Dantooine, its presence now standing as a beacon of hope in the midst of growing darkness. After days of grueling work, the restoration was complete. The once-dilapidated ruins were now a fully operational base, fortified with modern technology, while still retaining the soul of the ancient Order.
The halls that had been silent for centuries now bustled with movement. Soldiers from the 190th Legion, engineers, and Jedi walked side by side, adjusting final structural reinforcements and installing new security measures. The temple was alive once more.
The training chambers gleamed with freshly polished floors, the great hall—now the heart of the temple—housed strategic maps and communications arrays salvaged from the Hope. The dormitories had been restructured, allowing space for Jedi, Republic forces, and potential future recruits. The archives, once buried beneath layers of debris, were now an operational library, holding remnants of lost knowledge waiting to be rediscovered.
It wasn't Coruscant, but it was something more.
It was home.

I stood near the temple's entrance, watching as a sleek Delta-7B Aethersprite-class starfighter descended onto the landing pad. The moment the cockpit opened, a familiar figure leaped gracefully onto the stone floor.
Her black leather attire—form-fitting yet practical, composed of a sleek one-piece bodysuit which showed off her well-toned and trained legs, with knee-high boots—contrasted starkly against the sunlit stone.
Ahsoka Tano.
Her presence alone had revitalized morale.
"I have to say, Will, you've outdone yourself," Ahsoka mused, flicking her montrals in a seductive way. "You actually made this place feel like a Jedi Temple again."
I smirked. "It was a team effort. But it's good to have you back. And looking… different."
She rolled her shoulders and gave me a wry grin. "The Order's strict dress code never suited me. Let's just say I'm more comfortable now."
Kassy walked up, arms crossed, her dual blue sabers clipped neatly to her belt. "You're just in time. The temple's ready, and we're about to finalize its role with the Jedi Council."

Before the meeting, we did the final steps of restoration.
With Ahsoka's arrival, the work accelerated. She brought with her knowledge of old Republic-era defense protocols, helping to fortify the temple's perimeter. Working alongside the engineers from the Faith and Kassy's tactical expertise, we ensured that the Dantooine temple was more than just a sanctuary—it was a fortress.
The Outer Courtyard: Cleared of collapsed debris and turned into a training ground for lightsaber combat.
The Meditation Halls: Now operational, allowing Jedi to center themselves in the Force, uninterrupted by war.
The Foundry Wing: A workshop for armor, starship maintenance, and even the occasional lightsaber crafting.
By the time night fell, the temple was no longer a ruin—it was a beacon.
A Starlight Beacon, for the Jedi and the Republic.

As the sun set over Dantooine, we gathered around the newly installed holoprojector in the temple's great hall. The blue holograms of the Jedi Council flickered to life, their faces unreadable as we stood before them.
Grand Master Yoda was the first to speak. "Much effort, you have put into restoring this place. A temple, once lost. A home, now found."
Mace Windu's gaze was sharp as he looked at me. "You've done more than restore a Jedi Temple, Knight Kriss. You've built a foundation for something new. Explain."
I took a steady breath. "Masters, the Order is at a turning point. The Sith resurgence is no longer a whisper in the dark—it's real. And if we keep playing defense, we will always be one step behind."
Ahsoka stepped forward, arms crossed. "We've encountered two major Sith factions. One is working to forge artificial Kyber crystals on Korriban. The other, hidden in Dromund Kaas, is shrouded in secrecy. If we don't act, their influence will spread."
I glanced at Kassy, who nodded before I continued. "We propose a new directive. Not just Jedi Knights. Not just generals in the war. We need something more focused. More direct."
I took a step forward. "A dedicated force within the Jedi Order. A division meant to track, confront, and, if possible, redeem fallen Sith."
There was silence for a moment before Master Plo Koon spoke. "An ambitious proposition. And what would you call these Jedi?"
Kassy stepped beside me, her voice firm. "The Paladins of the Jedi Order."
Windu's expression was unreadable. "A force that hunts Sith… and aims to redeem them. That is dangerous ground."
Ahsoka smirked. "Maybe. But it's necessary. We need warriors who can face the Dark Side without being consumed by it."
Master Ki-Adi-Mundi exhaled, rubbing his chin. "This is no small request. A branch of Jedi specialized in Sith conflict… it changes the philosophy of our Order."
Yoda hummed, closing his eyes for a long moment before nodding. "Decided, it is not. But discuss, we shall. Your new temple—approved, it will be. A beacon, Dantooine will become. Of peace… and perhaps, of war."
A spark of victory flared in my chest, but it wasn't over yet.
Mace Windu raised a hand. "And what of the presence you discovered beneath the temple?"
Kassy's expression darkened. "We don't know what it is yet. But it's powerful. Ancient."
Master Shaak Ti's hologram flickered as she leaned forward. "Then you have our permission to investigate. But be careful. If something remained buried for this long, it may not wish to be disturbed."
The holoprojector flickered as the meeting ended.
I turned to my team, my fists clenched. "Then it's settled. We explore the ruins at first light."
Ahsoka grinned, twirling one of her sabers. "Good. I was hoping we'd get to do something fun."
As we stepped away from the council chambers, a deep breath filled my lungs.
We had secured Dantooine. We had forged a new path.
But now, we had to uncover what lay beneath our feet.
And something told me—
We weren going to like what we found.
