"Is this the place?" Evelyn asked, her voice filled with doubt as she glanced around. Her maid, Charlotte, led her through the winding path that stretched far away from the palace. They had left without informing anyone, and neither of them had guards. The silence around them felt too quiet, like they were walking into an unknown world.
"Yes, Milady," Charlotte replied, her voice steady but with an undertone of unease. "I know it's far, but this is where the tailor stays, and he's the best. It might seem strange, but it's worth it."
