It was 4 o'clock there still was one hour left to go to the party but Luna was ready. Apparently, her sectary was too much excited and dressed her up too early.
Luna's dress was more like a business suit. The shirt was Olive green colour, the crop jacket and the skirt was black. Her jewelleries were mostly made up of emerald. Her hair was flowing free.
The clock was faster and faster. The clock was past 6:00 but Mr. Andrew never came. Luna was waiting for him in the front gate but he was taking forever. It was 6:30 when a massage popped up in her phone.
It was from Mr. Andrew and it said
"Sorry Luna but I will not be taking you to the party. You know you are untrained. Because of that I will take Charlet to the Roseberry Garden party."
Seeing the massage Luna was shock or dumbfounded. So, his beloved's name is Charlet she thought. She sighed and said
"He really is dumb. Did he even realise that the invitation was given to me."
She knew who to call. She dialled a number in her phone and called that someone saying
"I don't have the invitation. He took it and now has gone to the Roseberry Garden party with his misters."
The call ended and after ten minutes a helicopter arrived. It was Julian. She knew that something is going to happen and that's why in advance she informed Julian about this.
Julian got out of helicopter and walked towards Luna with smirk saying
"Young lady, it seems that your idiot husband has abandoned you!! Let me escort you."
Luna still not in good mood said
"Oh!! Thank you, mister Julian who doesn't even have a girlfriend, to escort me!!"
both of them looked at each other bitterly.
The next moment Luna found herself in the entrance of the Roseberry Garden. Right now, her escort or partner was Julian. She looked at him and said
"Don't pick a fight in the Party."
He nodded like a loyal puppy. Luna sighed and asked
"Do you have an invitation."
Julian just chuckled and said
"No worries."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY NO WORRIES?"
Luna argued back. Julian smirked and said
"I and my partner have a free passport you know." L
Luna was relieved. She sighed.
They both hook a hand around each other and walked towards. Near the door to the main hall Luna found two familiar figures. It was Mr. Andrew and Charlet!!it seems that they were arguing with the guard. At that sight Luna felt a sense of satisfaction. She grinned and walked past them.
After walking a few steps in main hall, a voice called out
"Luna!!"
She turned it was Mr. Andrew. She smiled and asked
"What do you want, Mr. Andrew?"
Mr. Andrew gritted his teeth and asked
"Why are you with Mr. Blackwood? How did you come in?"
Before Luna could say something, Julian stepped forward and said
"Luna is my partner Mr. Andrew. She told me and you abandoned your own wife so, I came with her instead also She doesn't need invitation."
"What? Brother how could you come with a married woman."
A voice said. It was Charlet. Julian doesn't know her but he could grasp the point that he and that woman was related as well as Luna also grasp that point. Julian without hesitation said
"You can come with a married man and I can't come with a married woman. How unreasonable." Charlet was taken aback.
Mr. Andrew out of no where started screaming
"YOU!!! FIRST OF ALL, YOU SLEPT WITH HIM AND NOW YOU ARE COMING TO A PARTY AS HIS PARTNER!!!"
The crowd began to gather to see the live drama. Luna and Julian just looked at each other and didn't say a single word. As for Mr. Andrew and Charlet they erupted with anger but they also didn't say a single word. Before thing could take a dark turn Mrs. Blackwood arrived.
She turned to Luna was asked
"What happen sweetheart?"
Before Luna could reply Charlet hurried said
"Aunt, see? Brother is coming with a married woman. And also, it is said that they slept together. Brother is helping that low class woman cheat. What will happen to brother?"
Hearing Charlet's exaggerated voice Mrs. Blackwood was disgusted.
She looked at Charlet in distain and said
"First of all, you…you are no longer a blackwood. Don't call me that. Second of all, I invited Luna not you. You can go there is no need of a woman who is low class right?"
The plan of making Mrs. Blackwood scold Julian backfired.
At last, Mr. Andrew and Charlet was dragged out of the venue. Mrs. Blackwood turned to Luna and asked
"Are you ok sweetheart?"
Luna smiled and said
"I'm fine. Mrs. Blackwood."
