Yves started going to school 🏫, some students still discussed and backbit about the incident but she paid no attention to it and continued her day for her resolve was strong and now there was someone who would have her back. Few days passed and soon the incident became old news and once again her peaceful days were back.
Like that her junior high school days passed, Yves was excited to become a senior high schooler. There were two main things she was looking forward to. One was the welcome-farewell party. The school followed a tradition fellow juniors would arrange a party 🥳 for their fellow seniors congratulating them for passing their successful years of school and stepping into university life and the seniors would welcome their juniors.
Second being the school uniform, til the junior high grade all the students wore a white shirt and a checkered coloured below knee length frock on it, ankle length white socks with two strips on them and white canvas shoes. But the senior high wore skirts instead of frocks with a solid black coloured blazer accompanied with a checkered tie and house batch.
The colour of uniform depends on the house the student represented. For example: there were four houses each representing rose quartz, serene blue, beige and lilac colours respectively. Henry and Yves both were in the same house i.e.; beige.
This year Yves would enter senior high while Henry would complete his senior high. A farewell party was held the next day in the school premises. The students divided themselves into various groups to handle the preparations i.e., decoration group, catering group, organising group etc and Yves was in the catering group.
She chose a dress befitting the occasion as well be comfortable enough to work in. She dressed in a dark khaki solid coloured jumpsuit with a square neckline, puffed half sleeves, wide legged pants and a belt on the waist line. She tied her hair into a high ponytail, wore medium sized single pearl studs and off-white platform sneakers.
After getting ready she grabbed her phone 📱 and went to school, seeing everyone gathered she went up to them and soon joined the group.
The party was in full swing when Henry approached Yves and said:
'Will you give me the honour to have a dance with you my lady?'
Yves giggled and replied 'With pleasure gentleman.'
They both joined the others on the dance floor with a beautiful melody playing in the background. After the dance and other fun activities soon it was time for dinner.
Dinner was being served, the juniors were busy catering to their seniors when a senior fellow disregarded Yves while saying
'Hey, you problematic orphan! Get here with the dish you are serving'.
Hearing that the students at the table went silent 🔕. Apparently he was the brother of one of the girls who bullied Yves and got expelled from school. Henry stepped forward to set the fool in his place and give him a taste of his prowess in kicking but Yves stopped him saying :
I can't always hide behind someone to help me, every time I face a problem, trust me, I'm no longer the weak Yves and if things go south you and uncle are always there for me.
Hearing this he stopped as she went ahead and stopped in front of the said senior. Unimpressed by his impudent behaviour, 'Here you are!' she said as she poured down the soup 🍲 on his suit.
Responding to her action he shouted...
You bitch! what do you think you're doing? he snarled
Irritated by his insolent voice she spoke-
"Well you yourself believe I'm a bitch so I'm acting like one. Just because you have parents and I don't, doesn't make you superior and me inferior or the right to behave disrespectfully towards me, if having parents made you develop such a pathetic personality then I'm better off as an orphan. I admit , am flawsome but never underestimate a person who survived having nothing, they are stronger than you will ever be"...saying that she returned to her serving stand.
Ashamed and vengeful the boy bolted out from the party scene while everyone cheered upon her valiance; Yves has shown her strong nature to fight the bad and also elegance in handling situations and the party continued without any hitches. As the party came to an end, all the students returned back to their homes. Impressed by her action Henry applauded with a smile.
As Yves was getting ready for bed she thought 🤔 about today's events and felt grateful for her Uncle and Henry's eonian love and support because of which she could gather the courage to face the prevailed situation.
So, she thought of organizing a party for whom she was thankful to and considered family and informed Thomas to which he agreed.
Next day evening 🎴 Thomas, Henry and Yves gathered together in valor estate to celebrate. Henry prepared a surprise for Yves, today he will tell her about his feelings. He dressed in a 2 piece black tuxedo accessorized with black tie, watch and shiny black oxfords, his medium length blonde hair slicked back giving the image of an adult. He wanted to impress Thomas, as he knew Yves valued and considered him as family.
Yves dressed in a long red sparkling gown👗 gifted to her by Thomas. It had a queen anne neckline and long bishop sleeves. She tied her hair into a textured low bun, a single line pearl choker and sparkly golden kitten heels. Yves was looking forward to this evening as she could spend time together with two of her favorite persons who were there with her in her difficult times.
She started preparing for the party in the morning. Together with the kitchen staff she prepped the ingredients for the dinner. The dining hall was decorated with yellow and pink lilies, yellow daisies and blue hydrangeas. She also prepared two bouquets with pink roses and baby breath for Thomas and Henry representing her gratitude for them and also marking the beginning of new relationship as her family.
