"So, what's our game plan?" Caius asked.
Kael looked at him. "Let's find a good place to talk."
Both Liz and Caius agreed—they couldn't stay here and talk. As they walked toward the hallway, all the students' eyes were on them, especially the students who were supposed to go with them.
He felt their piercing eyes focused on them. Not the kind where they wanted to be friends—no. They had that look that said, "I will win no matter what." They weren't just looking at them—they were looking at everyone.
He realized it wasn't safe here. So Kael led Liz and Caius toward his room—somewhere safe where they could talk peacefully.
They rushed into his room and sat down.
"It's so tense out there," Caius muttered.
"Yeah, tell me about it," Kael responded.
"What's our plan?" Liz asked.
Kael was quiet for a bit. Then they began to lay out the plan.
