*thud* Brandon let out a quiet grunt as he rolled across the floor.
Using the momentum from his roll, he planted his palms firmly on the ground and pushed himself up, landing smoothly on his feet before shifting into a fighting stance.
"Haa.. Haa..." His breath came in heavy bursts as sweat dripped down his forehead and trailed along his bare torso.
Naevora stood a few feet away and a small, satisfied smile curled at her lips as she placed her hands on her hips.
"Good… surprised you can still stand."
Brandon huffed, brushing his damp hair back as he wiped the sweat off his brow. "Thanks for the concern."
Naevora rolled her shoulders, and the motion caused the muscles in her arms to flex subtly "Tch, don't act like I went all out on you. You wouldn't even be standing if I did."
Brandon sighed, shaking his head.
As much as he wanted to deny it, he knew she was right.
This was her just playing around, and yet, his body was already covered in bruises...
