Chapter 10 ( escaping
scheme)
As I was staring at the ocean I couldn't
help but think about the guy that is down
there I wonder if they were sharks in the
ocean that ate his remains or it's just
carnivorous fish. People could be brutal in
this present world especially if you have
mafias around. Mafias are scaring, they
take people's life without permission or
remorse, all they know is to get paid and
do illegal stuffs, they even collaborate
with governmental agencies, just Incase
they have troubles or trying to escape
jail.
On this note, I wonder if any of our
colleagues were working for knight slayer
for him to track us down so easily or did I
carelessly left the location navigator
turned on ??.
Nevertheless am not going to be there
victim, no matter what it cause I will get
out of here , because I can't sit back and
get murdered for being a victim. So that is
why I have my plan set out.
At the control room corner, Ryker had a
call so he left me to myself and I said to
myself why don't I do a little Scooby Doo
uh?. I worked in and saw a guard there I
wasn't surprised at all since the room has
high value and it must be guarded at all
times. " who are you, he asked and I
smiled lovely and tried to do a little
Mexican accent before I responded" am
the new cleaner and sir ryker is showing
me around " . He looked at me suspicious
and said he will have to confirm from
Ryker first and he foolishly stepped out to
'confirm'. I took that as an opportunity to
scoop around to find something relevant
and I noticed a lot of glitches. It looks like
am not the only one here that is an
enemy, they sure are some rats in this lion
den. The thought gives me shivers cause,
I don't know who is an enemy or a friend.
But what am sure about is that getting
out of this place like asap.
I took what seems like a remote control of
the network surrounding this place and a
cellphone I found laying around and bolt
out , few seconds later after I left the
control room, Ryker stepped out from
another room and asked to continue the
tour.
So I got a gadget that controls the signals
in the island, meaning I can cut and open
the network whenever I want to. And I
also have recordings from my
conversation with knight slayer, in
lucchese, I had the recording device on
my breast so it wouldn't be obvious that I
was secretly recording our convos.i
dropped it in a drawer by the side of the
bed, I am lieing if i said that i don't miss
kie, my mind is all over her. I am just
thinking how will she cope without me,
will she eat well. Though I trust that my
friend will take extra good care of her but
kie is really picky even if she doesn't do it
usually, I just pray that I won't be here for
a long time so that she won't fall sick
being worried about me. Deep in my
thoughts, I laid on the bed and fatigue
wrapped up my eyes that I couldn't hold
it anymore so I just gave in.
Footsteps approached my room, it wasn't
my original room so I didn't completely
laid down my guards. As the footsteps
came further, I dressed up and try to find
something to use for defense, I grabbed
the lamb by the bed and laid silently back
down and cover myself properly with the
duvet. As expected the door to my room
opened and I braced myself for possible
violence but the light switch was ignited,
which took me by surprise and I decided
to wait until the invader gets the fuck out
of my solitude. But knight slayer voice
ranged out " it's not even your mansion
but you are comfortably sleeping like the
world is a cotton candy " I didn't have
time for his bitching so I just asked him to
go straight to the point he signed and
said " come downstairs for dinner " I did a
little laugh and stared at him before
saying" I thought i was on your throat by
staying here and also an liability to you .
He smiled and said " yeah you are, I never
said you weren't am just feeding you just
incase i need you to do some of my dirty
deeds, and i know you will be down " he
said the last part while smirking at me
and i told him i can never do it even if he
feed me to the oceans resident. He smiled
" oh you did here about the rumors" he
moved closer to my ears and said so
sexily " spoiler alerts those are facts " he
said that and smirked so evily that I
cringed a bit and with that he walk out
the room.
