Just as Lord Tom finished speaking, a cold voice suddenly echoed from afar, shaking the entire Lord's Manor.
"Daring to lay a hand on my subordinates—how bold of you! Do you really think I, Dark Troll, can't wield my blade?"
As the voice resounded, the ground trembled violently, as if struck by an earthquake. The once-bright sky abruptly darkened, and the warm air turned bone-chillingly cold, swept through by the crimson aura of a spellbeast.
Everyone inside the Lord's Manor shivered instinctively.
Lord Tom, who was all too familiar with this oppressive presence, turned pale, his face freezing in shock. He couldn't help but cry out,
"A Tier-5 spellbeast—Dark Troll!"
Yet beside Lord Tom, Thomas remained eerily calm.
Though he had only slain a pseudo-Tier-5 spellbeast with the help of villagers, he no longer felt the pressure that a Tier-5 spellbeast could bring.
After all, he was a missionary under Deus Initium.
He represented a god!
