These two peaks, though not particularly tall, were steep and covered in stubborn rocks, making travel difficult for the people of Annasi. They had attempted to carve out paths before, but the sheer amount of rock made the process grueling. Each attempt left the village's able-bodied men utterly exhausted, forcing them to rest for days.
However, now—at the very moment the Earthsplit Scrolls struck the mountains—the land trembled as if an unimaginable force had pressed down upon it. Then, with a deafening roar, the peaks crumbled into rubble!
