"Stop moving," Lucian groaned, muttering curses under his breath. His arms wrapped around her waist, holding her in place.
"Get off me," Olivia pushed him harder, wriggling in his arms. She froze when she felt it twitch. Her mind screamed for her to get out of there. She swore that her face must have turned red like a tomato—the embarrassment was too thick, it was suffocating her poor heart.
Lucian groaned, his eyes shut tight from the torture. "You are the one who is on top of me," Lucian said, but his voice sounded like he was pleading for mercy.
It was then that Olivia realized they had both fallen to the ground and she was lying on top of him.
Olivia blinked innocently at him. "S… something is poking me," she almost cried out, her mind completely blank like a white sheet of paper.
Lucian's ears turned crimson red. This was so embarrassing. He had no idea why it had chosen now of all times to wake up. Now Olivia was going to think that he was shallow and had no self-control.
