"Squeak, squeak!"
Suddenly, several sharp screams of monkeys attracted Li Qingming's attention. Li Qingming hurried forward a few steps, pushed aside the dense green vines in front of him, and looked ahead.
What he saw was a vast boulder platform, beneath which lay a pool of clear water that allowed one to see to the bottom.
Several small but exceptionally agile monkeys were there, grinning and screeching in excitement around a silver-white monkey, six feet tall with six ears, as they circled and shrieked. They appeared to be quite excited.
By contrast, the silver-white monkey encircled in the center looked utterly aggrieved, fear palpable in its eyes. From its six ears, trickles of crimson blood occasionally flowed.
