"Nora," I called softly, as she gestured for Molly to be dragged into the safe room by her siblings and the door hissed shut on her terrified screams. What satisfying karma, I didn't even need to give anyone the idea to keep her in there, "Can you grab the map and presentation you made, please?"
"Of course. You don't need to say please and thank you every time," she sighed, exasperated, before handing me the prototype tablet I had brought back.
"Thank you, Nora, but manners are free," I grinned, flicking the images on my tablet to the TV screen on the left wall, "Now, it's time to implement the zombie survival programme. I thought it would take another month, possibly two, but with the Verne's having their free will and their villain point system being frankly lower than mine at this point. We can use their influences in society to flood this town with incentives. Who can tell me who owns the taxi ranks?"
"That would be Verity," Christa sighed, looking away from me.
