Luke POV.
I have been waiting impatiently for iris in the living room, what's taking her so long .
Iris 'i voiced out and she came down the next second .
I watched as she came slowly with my mouth wide open

She smiled slightly blushing.
I lead her outside and we got into the car.
I'm glad she agreed on coming with me
Iris POV
I and Luke both locked arms and stride into the venue slowly and elegantly.
There were a lot of guest and I suddenly got dizzy and feel like puking. Luke noticed and stared at me concernly
Hey what's wrong..are you okay ' I nodded and smiled at him so he would stop worrying. I can't disgrace him here, c'mon girl you can do it, just for some few hours.
We greeted a lot of people , singles , married couples and a lot more..even employees at his company and I must admit they are very nice …can't be olivious to how nice they spoke to me it was so nice and calming , and they seem to like me.. I'm glad they do.
Admist of greeting guests I spotted Rose
What is she doing here for goodness sake
Our eyes meet and I quickly looked away.
Um Luke..' he looked at me ' they're here ' he looked around too and spotted them too.
Uh..hmm I see.. listen it's alright I gat you , just be cool and calm okay ' he assured me and I nodded slightly.
Ok it's alright Iris, nothing will happen ' I breathe in and out to feel at ease.
When I glanced back at her, she was already coming towards our direction.

Rose POV.
This dress looks pretty good on me..I mean what won't. I would wear this to the club tonight , need to unwind.
I was busy admiring myself when the door opens.
Mom' I said

Can I have a talk with you for some really important and benefiting' I glanced at her and sat down beside her

So..you know the CEO of LA Corporation right…they are hosting a party tonight and I want you to work on him, if you can get him to fall for you , it is really a big benefit for you my dear, I want you two to get married.
Marriage …but mom, you know I have been dating Leo for years now and I love him , it's him I want to get married to not whoever you just said now , he is rich too and I'm satisfied mom.
But rose this man is super rich..I don't want you getting involved with them anymore think about it.
She's right … I and Iris will still be related somehow and I don't want that.

After applying the makeup, I sprayed on some perfume picked my purse and went downstairs.

I stand up and ..it was him. Oh my gosh he is so handsome like..how can someone be so….wait.. who's that beside him.. isn't that Iris, it's her what is she doing with …LA oh my .. we are screwed.
So Luke wasn't poor, gosh, this is a terrible mistake. Our eyes meet and she looked away , that bitch.
I marched towards where mom was, she was also surprised, like I expected.
You see,.it's all your fault mom .. I told you it was her we saw at the mall but what did you do huh, you blunty refused giving me stupid excuses, so what are we going to do now' I fumed angrily.
It's really her , we made a huge mistake, no wonder she never came back to pick her stuffs , she had been enjoying what she didn't work for and I won't let that happen.

We have to find a way to take care of it.

I glared at her and I can see the fear in her eyes, it was visible enough for me to see.

As soon as Luke was focused on her seeing her in pain I hastened my strides and went admist the crowd .
I managed to get to the toilet and went in to hide

Now we just have to find a way to put an end to this madness.
I brought out my phone and texted mom to meet outside, I can't stay here anymore, what's the point.
