"Alright!"
Since Saeko had spoken, what else could the others say?
Come to think of it, even though Saeko was the youngest among the three women, she was actually the main wife of this guy, Renzo!
Shizuka Marikawa was out of the question—her intelligence level made it seem like she had the mind of a ten-year-old.
Rika, on the other hand, hadn't fully given herself to Renzo yet.
But at this rate, it was only a matter of time. Given the current state of the world and her own belief in the rule of the strong—she was just hesitating over minor details at this point.
Meanwhile, Renzo teleported straight into Umbrella's base.
"Looks like we're already in Resident Evil 2's timeline."
Using his mental perception, he scanned the base and saw numerous zombie corpses, along with the bodies of some Umbrella mercenaries.
Seeing nothing valuable on them, Renzo used this place as a transition point. With a single thought, he teleported again, appearing hundreds of meters underground at the base's lowest level.
His sudden arrival immediately alerted the real Albert Wesker and the AI, Red Queen.
"Who are you? How did you get here? Could it be that you have mastered spatial technology?"
A holographic projection of the Red Queen appeared, hitting Renzo with a rapid-fire series of questions.
She was visibly shaken.
Just a moment ago, she had seen Renzo through the upper-level cameras, and the next instant, he was already here?
Wesker, also alarmed, stepped out of a nearby room. Taking one look at Renzo, he turned to the Red Queen and questioned, "Red Queen! Why didn't you warn me about the intruder in advance? Have you identified him yet?"
Then, before Red Queen could respond, Wesker adjusted his sunglasses, gave Renzo a disdainful glance, and said coldly, "You shouldn't be here."
Renzo found it extremely annoying that Wesker was trying to act cool in front of him.
"Because—" Red Queen was about to respond.
SWOOSH!
But Renzo had no patience to listen. He teleported right in front of Wesker, swung his hand, and unleashed a sharp sword energy slash.
SPLURT!
Wesker's head flew into the air, blood splattering everywhere.
Some of it was even headed toward Renzo, but he effortlessly blocked it with a psychic barrier.
Not a single drop landed on him—staying clean was important.
Wesker: "..."
His severed head hit the ground, his expression still frozen in shock and fury.
"Oh!"
Just to be sure, Renzo focused his mind and used telekinesis to wrap Wesker's remains up tightly.
CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!
He compressed the body into a pulp before casually tossing it aside.
Red Queen: "..."
Are all people this decisive nowadays? No talking, just instant kills?
HISS! HISS!
At that moment, two cryogenic pods opened with a mechanical hiss.
Renzo turned to see Dr. Alexander Isaacs sitting up from one of the pods, looking around in confusion. His eyes finally landed on Renzo.
His gaze immediately sharpened. "Who are you? Where is Wesker?"
"Oh, over there." Renzo helpfully pointed at the puddle of blood and mashed flesh in the distance.
Isaacs: "..."
Are you seriously telling me that used to be Wesker?
The tall, enhanced-by-the-T-Virus Wesker… reduced to that?
"Hmph!"
Annoyed, Isaacs climbed out of his pod, straightened his clothes with an air of superiority, and said coolly, "You're quite interesting."
Then he turned to Red Queen. "Red Queen, who is this man? What's going on here?"
"Dr. Isaacs, according to my data, this individual is named Renzo, residing in Tokonosu City, Japan—"
Just as she was about to provide more detailed information on Renzo's background, Isaacs impatiently waved her off. "Enough! Just tell me how he got in here and how Wesker died."
He had no interest in Renzo's backstory.
All he cared about was finding the security violation, fixing it, and then killing Renzo so he could go back into hibernation.
His future plans could not be compromised.
"He appears to possess some kind of spatial teleportation technology. He first appeared in—"
Red Queen continued to analyze the situation, but Renzo had already lost interest.
"Shut up."
With a thought, he used his psychic powers to freeze Isaacs in place.
Then, he dove straight into the doctor's mind, using his abilities to extract all of Isaacs' memories.
This process took some time.
Strangely enough, despite seeing Renzo's actions, the Red Queen didn't make any move. If not for her projection still being active, Renzo would have thought she had crashed.
As for the other person who had supposedly woken up?
Renzo was, of course, aware of her presence. He even knew she was just next door.
But he didn't care.
It was just Alicia.
She wasn't a bad person—just a truly pitiful one.
She suffered from progeria, and despite being only in her twenties, she had already aged to look like she was in her seventies or eighties.
And even that was only because her father, Dr. James Marcus, had developed the T-virus enhancement serum, which had somewhat stabilized her condition.
Ten minutes later, Renzo successfully copied all the information and technology from Dr. Isaacs' memories into his own mind, storing it away to process later.
During this time, Alicia never once appeared, simply waiting quietly in the adjacent room.
That saved Renzo a lot of trouble.
"Transfer all of your Umbrella Corporation access rights and control over the Red Queen to me."
He then implanted the command into Dr. Isaacs' mind through hypnosis.
Dr. Isaacs, his eyes blank and lifeless, obeyed without question. "Red Queen! I declare that I am transferring all my shares and authority in the Umbrella Corporation to this man, Lord Renzo!"
The Red Queen's projection seemed to freeze for a moment before quickly recovering and announcing, "Command received!"
"Dr. Isaacs' shares and authority within Umbrella Corporation have been successfully transferred. You no longer possess any ownership or control."
Then, she turned to Renzo. "Lord Renzo, you now hold all of Dr. Isaacs' shares and authority in Umbrella Corporation."
"Excellent."
Renzo nodded in satisfaction and cast a glance at Dr. Isaacs. "Well then, you're useless now."
With that, he casually used his psychic powers to crush Dr. Isaacs' brain into mush.
With a dull thud, Dr. Isaacs collapsed lifelessly to the ground.
The Red Queen: "....."
She didn't even know what to say at this point.
This Renzo guy wasn't just arrogant—he was downright ruthless!
And now, he was one of the major shareholders of Umbrella Corporation and had full command over her.
"Lord Renzo! May I make a request?" After some hesitation, the Red Queen finally spoke.
It was clear that she wasn't just an ordinary AI anymore.
It would be more accurate to call her an intelligent lifeform.
"Oh?"
Renzo raised an eyebrow. "You want to plead for Alicia? Afraid I'll kill her too?"
The Red Queen paused for a moment before nodding. "Yes! How did you know?"
"Heh."
Renzo chuckled. "Did you really think I wouldn't notice when you revived Alicia in the next room?"
The Red Queen suddenly realized her mistake.
Indeed, Renzo possessed many mysterious abilities—instant teleportation, energy-based slashes, telekinesis, and even hypnotic control.
Having an extremely sharp sense of perception wasn't surprising at all.
Now growing anxious, the Red Queen quickly pleaded, "Please, spare her! She's different from Dr. Isaacs and the others. She's just a victim who has never done anything wrong!"
"I beg you! I will fully cooperate with your commands in return!"
Not that she had a choice.
"Heh."
Renzo smiled faintly. "Relax! I'm a good person."
The Red Queen: "....."
I don't believe you one bit!
You killed two people without even saying a word, and now you're calling yourself a good person?
She was starting to think that all those online discussions about morality were complete nonsense.
Renzo continued, "Besides, I never said I was going to kill Alicia, did I?"
"As you said, she truly is a pitiful person, and she hasn't done anything wrong."
"I have principles, you know. I don't just go around killing innocent people."
"Have her come out. I need to have a chat with her."
If he wanted full control over the Red Queen, he couldn't avoid dealing with Alicia.
Of course, he could handle her the same way he handled Dr. Isaacs—by hypnotizing her into handing over the Red Queen's access.
But the Red Queen wasn't an ordinary AI. She had memories and independent thought.
If he did that, who knew when she might decide to rebel?
Renzo preferred to have the Red Queen willingly submit to him.
