Chapter 64 - Lightning Release: Heaven's Judgment

— — — — — — —

"Whoosh!"

In just a few breaths, Minato appeared beside Renzo using the Body Flicker Technique.

Placing a hand on his shoulder, he looked out toward the camp's perimeter and asked, "What's the situation? Where are the enemies now? How many of them? Can you sense them all?"

To be honest, Minato was still amazed by Renzo's terrifying sensory abilities.

When Renzo had told him he could sense anything within a five-kilometer radius, Minato had found it hard to believe.

"They've just entered my five-kilometer range and are closing in fast! There are about 270 of them, with a margin of error of no more than five."

"Additionally, based on their chakra levels, there are 35 Jonin and 17 Special Jonin among them! Minato-sensei, looks like it's time for us to get serious!" Renzo reported calmly.

"What's the situation? Where are the enemies?"

At that moment, Yuhi Shinku, Kakashi, and the remaining three surviving ninjas arrived and asked about the situation.

Renzo repeated his report.

Hearing this, Yuhi Shinku's expression became grave. He looked at Minato and Renzo and said, "Regarding the plan you discussed yesterday, are you sure about this?"

It wasn't that Yuhi Shinku doubted Minato's strength, but facing forty or fifty Jonin was no joke.

And Renzo had promised to handle most of the Chunin?

That was even harder to believe!

Had his subordinate grown this powerful in just a few months?

"I have no doubts on my end! But I need to start preparing my jutsu now! I won't be able to assist Minato-sensei during the battle!" Renzo affirmed with a nod.

"That's fine! As long as I have others to throw my kunai, that's all I need! Just focus on your preparations! Let's see this new Lightning Release secret technique of yours!" Minato said with a warm smile.

"This is the only option we have!" Yuhi Shinku sighed.

At this point, there was no better alternative than trusting Renzo and Minato.

Unless they were willing to retreat and risk disgrace for abandoning their position.

"Alright! Everyone, move quickly! Grab a Flying Thunder God kunai from me! When the time comes, make sure to spread them out near each enemy Jonin! I'm counting on you!"

Everyone immediately moved to the frontlines of the camp to make their final preparations.

Renzo, on the other hand, looked up at the sky.

The sky was filled with thick, oppressive clouds, as if a torrential storm was about to break at any moment.

"The heavens are on my side today! This will save me a lot of trouble!" Renzo chuckled.

He stepped back about ten meters behind Minato and the others, formed several hand seals, and raised a hand. A bright blue lightning pillar shot from his fingertips into the sky, piercing through the thick clouds above.

"Lightning Release: Chidori Conductor!"

Immediately, the electrical charge within the clouds started gathering towards Renzo's location, pulling the surrounding clouds in as well.

The cloud cover grew denser, darkening the sky further.

Even distant clouds were being drawn in by the immense charge, creating an overwhelming sense of dread.

That was exactly how Asuma and the others were feeling right now.

"What kind of Lightning Release jutsu is this?! It feels terrifying!" Asuma muttered, sensing a deep threat from the storm overhead.

And this was with Renzo suppressing the full force of the electric charge.

"This level of power is actually reassuring," Yuhi Shinku and Minato smiled lightly.

Right now, they weren't worried about their teammate's jutsu being too powerful—only that it wouldn't be powerful enough.

"Move! We're close to Konoha's third defensive line! Kill them all!!"

"Kill them all!!"

"Captain, doesn't the sky look a little strange?"

"What's strange about it? You're overthinking! Hahaha! We're fighting Konoha, not Kumogakure! Don't be paranoid!"

Minutes later, the Rock ninja swarmed toward them.

"They're here!"

"Now! Throw the kunai all at once!" Minato roared.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

In an instant, Kakashi, Yuhi Shinku, Obito, and the other Konoha ninja hurled their Flying Thunder God kunai at the incoming enemies with incredible speed.

"Hahaha! Has Konoha lost its mind? Do they think mere kunai can stop us?"

The Rock ninja laughed as they charged forward, barely paying attention to the thrown weapons.

"Wait! Those aren't normal kunai! Those are—!"

One sharp-eyed Rock ninja noticed the danger and tried to warn his comrades.

But it was too late!

"Whoosh!!"

Minato vanished from Kakashi's side.

The next moment, he appeared in front of a Rock Jonin, slicing the man's throat with his kunai in an instant.

"One down!"

Then he disappeared again.

All the Konoha ninja could see was a golden blur flashing rapidly through the enemy ranks.

Each time it appeared, another Rock Jonin fell, killed instantly.

"It's the Flying Thunder God! Avoid those kunai!"

"It's too late! They're everywhere!"

"Should we retreat?"

"Coward! Anyone who talks about retreating will be executed on the spot! Charge! I refuse to believe that a few Konoha ninja can stop us! Minato can't ignore his comrades being attacked!"

"Kill them!!"

In just two minutes, over twenty Jonin and Special Jonin had been slain.

The Rock ninja weren't idiots—seeing their comrades fall so quickly, they immediately ordered a full charge toward Kakashi's group.

In mere moments, they had closed to within 500 meters.

"Renzo! Are you ready yet?!"

Seeing the Rock ninja about to overwhelm them, Yuhi Shinku shouted in urgency.

Renzo closed his eyes, expanding his sensory field. The lightning in his hand surged.

"Lightning Release: Heaven's Judgment!"

The storm clouds above roiled violently.

Countless blue lightning bolts crashed down.

Under Renzo's precise control, they struck the Rock ninja with pinpoint accuracy.

The battlefield turned into a sea of lightning, engulfing everything within a hundred-meter radius.

Screams filled the air as countless Rock ninja were instantly turned to charred husks.

"Earth Release: Earth Wall!"

"Earth Release: Moving Earth Core!"

Some quick-witted Rock Jonin managed to erect thick layers of earth to shield themselves and their allies, narrowly avoiding the deadly barrage.

Seeing that the remaining Rock ninja had either died or gone underground, Minato knew his Flying Thunder God technique was no longer viable. He quickly teleported back to Kakashi's side.

Looking at the electrified battlefield, Minato couldn't help but glance back at Renzo, who was still focusing on his jutsu.

"Such terrifying Lightning Release mastery..."

"No! What's even scarier is his level of control!"

He had seen firsthand how the lightning bolts avoided him, precisely targeting only the enemies nearby.

"Renzo is only eleven... This level of talent makes me feel ashamed!" Minato thought.

"Counterattack! We can't let this continue!" Realizing the storm wasn't letting up, the Rock commander panicked and gave the order to strike back.
