Chapter 50 - A Newcomer Renzo

— — — — — — —

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, more than a month had passed.

With only three days left until the start of the Lily of the Valley Conference, it was time for Eevee and the others to set off. They needed to register in advance!

"Eevee! Time to wake up! We need to get to Veilstone City's airport in two hours and catch a flight to Lily of the Valley Island!"

Cynthia's voice called up from downstairs.

Eevee groggily rolled over, sat up, rubbed one paw against its eyes, and let out a long yawn. "Haaaa~!"

Feeling a bit more awake, it telepathically responded, "Got it! I'm coming down now! But Cynthia, have you packed everything?"

"Of course!" Cynthia replied through their telepathic connection. "I finished packing last night! Now hurry down and eat breakfast. After that, we'll fly to the airport on Grandma's Garchomp!"

"Alright, let me brush my teeth first!"

Still half-asleep, Eevee floated off the bed using its psychic powers, levitating straight into the bathroom.

Without lifting a paw, it telekinetically pulled its toothbrush and toothpaste out of the cup, squeezed just the right amount of toothpaste onto the brush, and turned on the faucet.

"Gurgle, gurgle!"

"Pfft!!"

All done using psychic energy.

Efficient, precise, and convenient.

This was Eevee's way of training its fine control over telekinesis—integrating practice into daily life. Why not kill two birds with one stone?

After all, conducting experiments required extreme precision when manipulating instruments. Training its control was a must.

Once freshened up, Eevee floated downstairs. Cynthia and Professor Carolina were already seated, while the other Pokémon were happily digging into their breakfast.

Unlike the others, Eevee had its own special chair—a throne of sorts.

Professor Carolina had arranged it specifically for Eevee.

Truly, she was meticulous.

She understood that Eevee, with its extraordinary intelligence and human-like behavior, couldn't be treated like an ordinary Pokémon.

If they were going to consider Eevee an equal, they had to go all the way.

"I made your favorite fish soup today!" Cynthia said with a bright smile.

"Mmm! Thanks, Cynthia!"

Eevee grinned and used its telekinesis to tie a napkin around its neck. With precise psychic control, it floated a spoon into the soup and took a sip, then levitated a bun filled with fruit-flavored Pokéblocks to its mouth.

This bun had become a staple ever since Eevee requested it once. Now, whenever it wanted one, Cynthia or Professor Carolina would prepare it.

Pokéblocks were essential for Eevee's growth and training—ordinary human food simply wasn't enough.

The stronger a Pokémon, the higher its energy and nutritional needs.

Just like humans—stronger individuals require more sustenance.

After breakfast, Cynthia hugged Eevee and hopped onto Professor Carolina's Garchomp.

"Grandma! We're heading out now! Make sure you come to the finals!" she called out.

"Of course! I wouldn't miss it for the world!" Professor Carolina waved goodbye with a warm smile.

This was Cynthia's first time participating in a regional Pokémon League tournament, and it was happening in their home region. There was no way she'd miss it.

From Celestic Town to Veilstone City, even with Carolina's champion-level Garchomp, the flight would take about half an hour.

Eevee enjoyed the cool summer breeze, feeling so comfortable that its eyelids started to droop. But just as it was about to doze off, a notification popped up in its mental space—a new member had joined.

After thinking for a moment, Eevee decided to check it out.

"Cynthia, I'm gonna take a nap for a bit," Eevee transmitted telepathically.

"Haha, alright! I'll wake you when we reach the airport," Cynthia said, stroking Eevee's head affectionately.

Mental Space—

By the time Eevee arrived, the others were already gathering.

"So, we're all the same person, huh?" the newcomer, Renzo, asked, still processing the shared memories and abilities.

"That's right," Apocalypse Renzo nodded. As he absorbed the newcomer's memories and skills, a look of surprise and excitement spread across his face. "Damn, this is unexpected! Just last month, we were hoping for a mechanical engineering genius to join us, and now you're here! What a lucky break!"

"For real!" Demon Slayer Renzo grinned, eyes sparkling with excitement. "I can't believe you're from the Gundam world! And you're a top-tier mechanical and electronic expert?! That's insane!"

This guy was a true genius—someone who could build Gundams, fighter jets, and all sorts of advanced mechs with his own hands.

Not to mention, he lived in Orb as a top scientist among the Coordinators.

Yes—this newcomer was from the Gundam SEED universe.

The story hadn't kicked off yet, but it would soon.

From his memories, they learned that Orb had secretly set up a research team in the neutral space colony Heliopolis. Right now, they were developing four custom Gundam units.

Using his immense talent, Renzo had managed to infiltrate this team, gaining access to their technology—perfect for developing his own Gundam in the future.

"What?! The Gundam universe?! And you're a mechanical engineering genius?! What are the odds?!"

Eevee emerged from its own portal, just in time to hear Demon Slayer Renzo's words. Without hesitation, it leaped onto the newcomer's shoulder and instantly activated memory-sharing.

The next moment, it grinned. "Oh-ho! Now we're talking! With your knowledge, I can finally build an advanced server and computer system to get started on AI development!"

"Exactly! Haha!"

Pirate Renzo and Uchiha Renzo nodded in agreement.

Now they had everything they needed to build servers and high-end computers.

All that was left was programming the AI.

With that in mind, they both turned to Apocalypse Renzo. "Can you hurry it up?"

"Seriously," Uchiha Renzo added, shaking his head. "It's been over a month, and you still haven't left your damn base! What's taking so long?"

Last time, this guy had confidently claimed he'd raid Umbrella's headquarters and steal the Red QueenAI and all of their advanced technology.

Yet here they were—waiting.

"Ahaha…" Apocalypse Renzo laughed awkwardly. "I just wanted to be extra cautious! I've been studying the T-Virus first."

"You're stalling!" Eevee scolded. "With your current strength, what virus could possibly threaten you? That stuff wouldn't even get close to you!"

"Yeah, quit making excuses! You've just been goofing off this whole time!"

"Exactly!" Pirate Renzo scoffed. "I see a lot of memory gaps in your timeline… You've been busy enjoying yourself, haven't you?"

"Judging by the missing chunks of memory, I'd say he's been spending a lot of time with his two girlfriends…"

Eevee, Pirate Renzo, and the others smirked.

Apocalypse Renzo just laughed nervously.
