Alexandra's POV—
I splashed some water on Mona's face. Thankfully, she wasn't bleeding. Well, it's shocking that she isn't bleeding. With a painful groan, she opened her eyes.
"Whaa… I remember—" Mona's words were stuck in her throat when she saw me. She tried screaming but I immediately wrapped my left hand around her mouth, making her unable to scream.
I warned, "Don't make a single noise. I will not hurt you," I pointed at the unconscious Henry, "otherwise, you will suffer the same fate as him." Mona's eyes widened with fear. She immediately nodded her head. I slowly removed my hands from her mouth. She quickly took a sharp intake of air and tried to calm herself.
"Where are the other residents of the house?"
Mona replied, "M-my s-siblings and m-mother are in the r-room n-n-next to m-my f-father's. And my b-brother is in his r-r-room u-upstairs," I frowned, "I-I… you w-wouldn't h-hit a w-woman, right?" I would have shown her some pity because of her continuous stuttering… but I would not. Leaving someone like her conscious would create problems for me.
"Sorry. I am quite a believer in gender equality." I punched her and knocked her unconscious. It was a light punch though.
I closed the door and locked them inside it. Even if I couldn't use my metal ability, I had the gun in my space. This family is really dysfunctional. With a single warning, she vomited everything.
Following her instructions, I dealt with Mona's siblings and mother first. I locked them from outside and proceeded towards Tom's room.
Now, Tom is a character that I have to really be on my guard against. When I opened his door, I found the room to be empty. Suddenly, someone kicked me right in my spine, sending me tumbling into the room.
*Click* The room was locked. I was sprawled across the floor like a floormat. With a painful gasp, I stood up. It was Tom who attacked me.
"You have escaped," commented Tom. Thank you for stating the obvious. Tom, you really are a gem. You are the epitome of intelligence.
I mocked, "Yeah? Glad you noticed, you old geezer. Aren't you an old man? Why are you so athletic?"
Tom smirked, "I was in military before. I have still retained my prowess."
"Were you excommunicated? I am sure there is no way the military will allow someone like you to be in the army."
Tom smiled, showing all of his yellowish teeth. He said, "They feared me. They didn't deserve someone of my calibre. I was better than them… I was above them. No, I am above everyone as I am the father of the 'chosen one.' Something that you can't even imagine to comprehend."
I snorted, "Please, I don't want even want to comprehend about your son. At best, he is a faker."
"DON'T CALL HIM A FAKER! BITCHHHH! I WILL KILL YOU!" Ok, I have angered him. Like a mad bull, he ran towards me to attack. He tried to hit me in my face, which I barely dodged. I punched him in the face, only for him to take it head on. He didn't even budge a bit. He smiled wolfishly and removed my hand from his face. He twisted my hand. I gasped in pain.
He said, "Your hands are like a twig. I can easily break it if I want. You, a dainty woman. So, you should behave like one… but you don't." Sorry pal, but I was a man in my previous life; of course I will behave like this. He continued, "My son is really enamoured by your beauty but I am not him. I can clearly see through your deceptive looks. He is not here, and I daresay… I will teach you a lesson."
"Argh… is that so? Let's s-see w-what y-you can do. Y-you can't e-even c-control your family. Did y-you know t-that your Henry h-has dirty r-relations with your daughter?" I tried to agitate him but he smiled even wider.
"I know. I was the one who had allowed them to carry on with their relationship," he stated. These words shook me to the core.
Taking advantage of my disturbed mind, Tom lifted me up and slammed me on the floor, with a sickening thud.
