Alexandra's POV—
I gripped my sword and entered the second floor. As soon as I entered the floor, I was greeted by a horde of zombies. Fuck! The whole floor was stanching with very foul smell. My body feels like it will rot away if I stay here any longer.
"Grr...rrrr!!"
"Grrrrrr!!!!"
"Grrrrr...rrrr...."
The zombies were growling and salivating in hunger. Upon spotting me, they immediately ran towards me. While the zombies could run, their speed still slower than an average human's speed. It gave me a big advantage over them as my speed is much superior than their speed.
I separated a zombie's head from its body and kicked the body into other zombies. A zombie tried to take hold of my hair as I cut its arm off its body. Not wasting any time, I plunged the sword deep in its mouth. I changed the sword's orientation to the right and tore its head from the inside. I rotated the blade 180 degrees and thrusted the sword into another zombie's head without even looking at it.
Pulling out the sword, I slashed a zombie's limbs in one swift motion and separated its head off his neck.
I lifted my sword high in the air and cut a zombie into two pieces. Fuck! Again, a disgusting sight! I reversed my sword's sharp part and slashed another incoming zombie from bottom to top.
"Grrr...rrr"
"Grrrr!!!"
Looking it the zombies, I sighed deeply. It's better that I finish this quickly without wasting any time. I raised my sword again and started killing them one after one until not a single zombie was left.
Just as I thought that I killed them all, a zombie whose legs were missing, grabbed my legs and tried to bite them. Argh! I turned my sword upside-down and thrusted it in its skull, killing him. A few drop its rotten blood fell on my legs. Grimacing in disgust, I began searching for kerosene and other necessary things.
I found kerosene bottles in shelve number 3 and lanterns in the shelve number four. I kept some kerosene bottles and two lanterns in the space. I kept an extra lantern for emergency.
With that, I headed towards the third floor. Climbing the stairs, I entered the third floor. Surprisingly there were no zombies in that floor. It even smelled good.
I looked around and searched for the tents. Upon spotting it, I quickly walked towards it and selected the best tent. After selecting it, I put in my space and plopped on the ground.
My new body lacks stamina. My hands are thin, my legs are short. In fact, I am small. I am about 5'3" and if that wasn't enough, my body lacks as well. Up to this point, I have used my skills to kill the zombies.
'System, how can I increase my strength and stamina? Will they increase if I increase my level?'
[You are correct in your assessment. Increasing your level will increase them automatically. Although, there is another way.]
'What way? Tell me quickly?'
[You can buy a pill from the store.]
Store? Is there a store feature in the system? Why did it never say anything about it? Never in my previous life, I heard that word from it. In the novels, systems have a store feature in them. But I never thought my system had that too.
'You never said anything about 'store' in my previous life. Why?'
[You never asked about it. If you have asked, I would have said it. It's your fault anyway. You always tend to forget things. Except your knowledge in fighting, your other fields do have some serious problems in them.]
I gritted my teeth in anger. "Aren't you the one who forget to tell? You are my system; you should tell me. You always yell and berate me for my shortcomings. Shouldn't we behave as a team? We are partners." I lost all my anger when I yelled the last line.
In all of my lives, whether it's the first or second or, even the third... I have been always yelled and berated by every kind of people. My parents, the heroines, my so-called friends, my siblings... everyone liked to berate me. When I first met the system, I believed that I would finally have a real friend of mine. I know it was extremely absurd to consider a mechanical entity as a friend but I couldn't help but admire the beauty in the idea. But apparently, I was wrong.
