Ann leaned against the cool, smooth wall of the ladies' restroom. She bent over, gasping for air, confusion etched on her face.
The flush of embarrassment mingled with disbelief , She did not seem to know this side of Elisa, or perhaps, she did not know Elisa at all.
"Ann, are you alright?" Her friends rushed to her side, concern written all over their faces as they held her.
With a graceful flick, Elisa tucked a stray hair behind her ear, her eyes gleaming like sharpened blades.
Her intimidating gaze zeroed in on Ann, whose face was pale. Ann looked like a helpless wet dog, and that , that satisfaction in her smirk sent shivers down Ann's spine.
"Ann," Elisa taunted, "you should have listened. I'm done allowing you to mess with me. And if you dare mess with me again, you will regret the day you met me."
She pursed her lips and seemed to be mocking Ann , then turned on her heels and left nonchalantly.
Ann only dared to scream in exasperation after Elisa left.
