SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!
A group of men moved silently through the dense forest. their dark hideous cloaks blended into the shadows. Leaves barely rustled under their precise movements, and the only sounds were the soft crunches of boots against damp earth.
They moved like ghosts as their eyes locked onto their target.
A carriage traveling down the road surrounded by a small procession of 20-30 knights.
"Sir Fabi, the target is in sight," one of the assassins whispered.
Fabi nodded, his cold eyes narrowing. "Good. Remember, our target is Kael. We need his head, no matter what."
One of the men smirked. "This will be easy. I heard he's just unawakened."
"Yeah, he's just some weakling. I don't even understand why they sent so many of us for this."
"Idiot," another one scoffed. "It's not him we're worried about. It's the guards. There are four D-rank knights in there."
"Four D-ranks?" One assassin chuckled. "That won't be a problem as long as Captain takes charge."
