"The point is to look innocent and clueless…" I hissed as I narrowed my eyes at her. She was seriously getting on my nerves now. "Not look like an experienced slut." I fought the urge to stare down at her again.
Goddamn it. If I had just checked the outfits then none of this would've happened.
That was clearly a mistake on my part and I would make sure it never happens again.
"I know." Theadora's quick answer pulled me back to reality.
"What?"
"I know that I was supposed to dress like a clueless teenager so this investigator I'm going to meet won't suspect me." She said with a small shrug.
My brow quirked up and I could hear Adrian's quiet laughter behind me.
I'm convinced that one day I'm going to eventually lose it and end that man's life myself.
