Trick stood unmoving, clamorous sounds of his master's battle resounding through the sanctum before entering his ears like judgement whispers in the wind.
'I know you can do it all on your own.' Trick's fist tightened.
'I know you can deal with the situation all by yourself.' He recalled Astravan's parting words.
'I know you alone can save everyone within the castle.' Trick gritted his teeth from the miserable feeling of feebleness burning within his chest, his eyes lowered to the ground as he continued to travel through his line of thoughts.
'But I can't just stand idly by.' He slowly lifted his head towards the bright cards that continued floating around him, just one glare at them casting a radiant glow of determination within his crimson red eyes.
'Because of what you told me that day…'
