The wait is very short with how fast the bus drives, and without many vehicles along the way, the ride is shorter, and they swiftly arrive at the entrance of the Black Fang Academy.
"Welcome, freshmen. This is the Black Fang Academy. Starting the next year, you will be honing your skills to become a respectable and strong tamer. The teachers will impart their knowledge related to Mythias and will be there until you all graduate as certified tamers. Now, ready your passes as that will be your ticket to obtain the key to your own room while you study in this academy. Hold on to it and head over to the registrar, which is located in the first building you will see nearby upon entering the premises."
Miche pulls out a card from his pocket that his mother had given him before he departed. It has the logo of the Black Fang Academy and has the number 20 emblazoned on the surface, and it is made of metal. So that was the main purpose of it.
Everyone got out of the buses carrying their luggage and went their ways.
"Have a good day, seatmate," the girl with the cat in her arms waved goodbye to Miche as she headed out of the bus first.
Miche waved goodbye and smiled before he pulled out his luggage and got off the bus as well. As soon as he steps out of the bus, the smell of the forest lingers around the place. There is also the strange feeling of power lingering all over the place. In short, compared to the city, the surroundings of Black Fang Academy are surrounded by nature, which also means it is easier for the academy to meet Mythias in their natural habitat.
Following the other students who have entered the gates, he quickly found the building that is called the registrar, where he can get his pass and key to his room. It's a necessary process so that students can't change rooms anytime they want, and to also keep every student's belongings privately and securely without being stolen by others.
Based on how fast each students enter and exits the building, it seems the process of obtaining the pass is fast enough, or perhaps it is already done, it just needs the confirmation of the student themselves. It didn't take him long before it was his turn already to receive the keys to his room.
It didn't take him that long to arrive at the counter where a woman with thick glasses is currently typing quickly on the computer without even looking at him. However, even without looking, she is aware of his presence.
"Your pass, please."
Miche hands over the metallic card to her, and she snatches it away before he can even put the card down on the counter. She gave the card a slight glance at the number emblazoned before she grabbed a little box on her side and shoved it towards Miche.
"This box contains your ID, your room number, and the key to your room. Don't lose it, as you might need to pay money if you do lose it. Now, to reach the living quarters, step on the teleporter not too far from here, and you will be teleported to the living quarters. It is your job to find your room, though, as it is already on the number, it should be common sense. Now go and move quickly as the line is still long. NEXT!"
Miche quickly stepped to the side of the line to continue the process. As for Miche, he looked at the box and its simple appearance. It was a small one, but big enough to fit on his palm. It doesn't seem to contain much as he can only hear the clanging sound and something hard inside when he shakes it, which he assumes to be both the key and his ID. He opened the little box and indeed, the box contains his ID with his photo, which doesn't match his current looks right now, as he looks like he hasn't taken a bath. His Mother was to blame for that look of his, as he had his photo before he could even make any proper grooming on himself. Looking at his ID picture, he looks like a hobo that no one would think would be him.
"Maybe I can ask for a reshoot on this one?"
After inspecting his ID, he looked at the remaining items inside the box. Alongside his ID is a key with a handle that has the shape of a wolf's head. On the wolf's head design, the number of his room is currently emblazoned, allowing Miche to know his exact room and where the key would work.
"120. That must be my room number, huh? Alright, time to find it and get some good rest."
Looking around, the students who have gotten their own boxes are going in the same direction where a pillar of light flashes from time to time in the distance. Following the students, as he was about to follow the rest, a familiar voice called him.
"Hey, seatmate! Looks like you also got your ID and key, are you going to the living quarters next?"
The girl he sat next to on the bus earlier called out to him. It seems that she also has just finished her tasks and got her ID, as well as she was holding the same kind of box he was holding.
"Didn't you get your key much earlier?" Miche asked.
"Yes, I did. However, since I have a Mythia with me, it has to be registered officially as my Mythia to have it be identified as a tamed Mythia and to also exempt me from tomorrow's initiation class. It's a bit of a process, so it took me a bit."
Miche glances at her sleeping cat. It seems that since she already has her own Mythia, she gets to skip the troublesome part of obtaining your first Mythia. Unfortunately for Miche, he has yet to have his, and he will have to join in the initiation as well.
"How about we go together to the Living Quarters? Considering we own our own rooms, it seems that there was no segregation of genders to begin with, so there is a chance that we might be neighbors!" she enthusiastically said.
"Maybe. What's your room number? Mine is 120."
"Oh? Looks like I guessed it correctly that we would be neighbors! I am in room 119! Looks like it was fate that brought us together!"
Miche was startled by what the girl just said. Did she just blurt something that can be mistaken for some sort of romantic meaning or anything? Honestly, he didn't know. Or maybe that was just some sort of friendly gesture? It doesn't mean anything related to romance, right? He just met her today, after all. Choosing to ignore her previous words, he nodded as a response but immediately shifted the topic by making an appropriate introduction.
"Looks like we will be neighbors for the next few years then. Please take care of me. By the way, I am Miche, may I ask for your name?"
"Nice name, Miche. I am Natalia, and this is my partner Elos. The same sentiment goes to you as well. Anyways, let's get going then? Can't afford to be scolded by the Seniors who are currently arranging things for us freshmen."
Miche nodded. Somehow, he still couldn't get rid of his doubt that there was some underlying message in what this girl named Natalia said to him earlier. But as much as he wanted to think of what it was, he ultimately decided to forget about it. It might just be a friendly greeting or something like that.

"Step on the platform. 6 people will suffice. Make sure your feet and your luggage are on the platform so that you lot will be included in the teleportation." The same teacher who was with them on the bus earlier was the one currently controlling the teleporter.
Miche and Natalia step on the teleporter with three other students as well. Compared to him, other students seem to be confident and used to the new things that he is just experiencing so far. That also includes Natalia. Thankfully, he is quite a poker face, so even though he felt a bit nervous, he still managed to keep a straight face as the teleporter slowly lit up.
"Once you have already settled, wear your uniforms and head to the Assembly hall. Everyone should be there by an hour as there will be an announcement and welcome speech by the Principal and owner of the Founder of the school for the new students. After that, you lot can go back to your room and rest as tomorrow will be the beginning of the proper classes for the freshmen," the teacher said.
After his reminder, the teleporter lights up brightly that he couldn't see anything before it disappears, and the scenery has changed. They are now in a very long and massive hallway that contains lots of doors. The scenery was something that Miche had only seen on the internet or in the movies, but to see it for himself, he wasn't expecting that it was so grand.
"Wow, considering that most of these are just products of Space Expansion, seeing it personally is still quite a marvel."
"Wait, this was all Space Expanded place? It wasn't just a building built this big?" Miche asked.
"Yes. They needed to save a lot of space, so instead of making a small area, they decided to install a space expansion on the whole Living Quarters, allowing the size of the place to be much bigger than it looks from the outside," Natalia explained.
Although he wanted to marvel at the place, Miche quickly shifted his attention and locked his eyes on the number on the doors. His number was 120, so he quickly skipped the doors that aren't triple digits. Natalia followed him as they were just next to each other in rooms, making her search much faster than doing it herself.
And since the number is a lot near the 100th door, they quickly arrived at their own respective doors.
"Well then, Miche. I shall go first and settle my partner down. Let's meet up later, alright?" Natalia smiled before opening her own door and leaving Miche before he could answer.
Since Natalia already went inside her room, Miche pulls out his key from the box and puts it on the doorknob, before twisting it.
CLICK!
Turning the knob and pushing the door open, Miche soon found himself in a very big interior that is much bigger than his house. In fact, it was so big that it was like the living room of a prestigious mansion. This isn't what Miche was imagining his room to look like, and his expectations were quickly shattered as it shot up to the roof.
"Damn...are they really trying to house a student here or are they planning on keeping us here? Because this room is much better than my whole house combined!"
But that's when he realized why the place is big. Since the students of Black Fang Academy are tamers, having a big room to give space to their Mythias is only logical. And considering the sizes of some Mythias, even the size of the room might not be enough to keep them all together.
