Darkness. Cold, suffocating darkness.
I remember the flames.
I remember the pain.

A sharp gasp tears through my throat as my body jolts upright. My lungs burn as I claw for air, my chest rising and falling in frantic desperation. My entire body trembles, a thin layer of sweat clinging to my skin.
The scent of burning flesh lingers.
So strong.
So real.
Like it's still seared into my very bones.
I can still feel it—the heat of the flames licking at my skin, the agony coursing through my veins as fire devoured me whole. The thick, suffocating smoke choking the air from my lungs.
I can still hear the whispers.
The cruel laughter.
The jeering crowd.
I remember the sharp bite of the chains cutting into my wrists, the searing pain of the silver collar around my throat. I remember the torches being thrown, the flames consuming me, the excruciating pain of my flesh melting away.
I remember dying.
