I'm Abandoning this fic.
Well, if anyone wants to continue this fic, they have my full permission.
For a while now, I've been considering abandoning it. Writing Kumagawa is harder than I expected—it feels like his personality is rubbing off on me. Lately, I've found myself seeing things in a bleaker light.
I've caught myself thinking in circles, questioning every decision, and seeing the world through a more cynical lens.
Honestly? It's exhausting.
Especially his thought process. Writing a character who is useless, unlucky, unfortunate, and, most importantly, destined to lose to everyone at everything while somehow remaining absurdly competent is exhausting. Every time I think I have a solid plan, I realize Kumagawa would never take the straightforward path, and I'd have to rewrite entire sections to account for his unpredictability.
I rewrite. And rewrite. And rewrite again.
And let's be real, this story is going nowhere. I've tangled so many threads together that even I have trouble keeping track of them. It's frustrating. It's tiring. Every minor interaction turns into a headache, because I keep asking myself: Is this Kumagawa enough?
Because of that, I won't deny that for a moment, just a brief moment, I really did consider dropping this fic.
I should've known. Writing Kumagawa was always a losing game. No matter how much effort I put in, no matter how carefully I crafted each twist, he would always find a way to make it pointless in the end.
...Oh, and by the way.

I'll delete this chapter after three days since it doesn't look good on the chapter list. :p
What can I say? I'm the type of person who likes to do things a certain way. If things don't go how I want them to, I either push through with patience or abandon them entirely. There's no in-between. I guess that just makes me a whimsical and contrarian kind of person.
