Alvin, still standing at the far end of the shop, turned to look at Elara. "Can you hear what they are talking about? For some reason I cannot hear anything."
"That is to be expected; there is something in this shop that prevents someone else from hearing the conversation." Elara looked at Alvin and shrugged. "To respect their privacy."
"Let's look around this place; let her do the talking." She pulled Alvin towards a nearby shelf where some big jar beakers filled with different items were placed. "Do you recall that?"
Alvin followed her gaze and saw a very familiar-looking stalk of grass in one of the beakers.
"Is that Moonwort?" The stalk of grass was similar to the one he had seen being used in the ritual when he became a vampire. This magical herb was contained in a dark container so it did not emit any glow, but Alvin recognized the familiarity between them once Elara pointed it out.
